Sled Christmas Tree Stand / Holder by Nantucket Home

i bought the same sled 20 years ago and it is still like new and the one i just bought were made the same way.

Well..... My tree stand arrived..... It was super cute and seemed very sturdy. My tree went in easily and I tightened the screws.... And before I pushed it in to position, I put some water in to keep the bottom of the trunk wet. I had just sawed an inch off the bottom for a fresh end. I moved furniture and prepared my area and slid the sled into what was going to be it's final spot. An there on my living room rug was a huge puddle! The water had leaked out. Now I have a real mess. I have to unscrew everything, get the tree out of the tree stand , carry the sled to my kitchen sink and fill the reservoir with water to try to see where the problem was and there it was just gushing out of the bottom where there are was a space that wasn't welded. I've ordered another one! Cross your fingers for me!!! I hope the next one works better. Because it really is a cute tree stand. No more getting down there to screw around with a tree skirt. Easy to vacuum up needles that have fallen. I'm nervous with anticipation hoping that the next one will be fine!NOPE! SECOND ONE LEAKED EVEN WORSE!

Bought this EXACT sleigh design at least 15 years ago. HEAVY duty build and weighs a ton. That's good news since it's holding up my families Christmas tree. Alas, my daughter is now grown and on her own. Could not believe the availability of this sleigh after all these years. Bought the newer one as a Christmas gift for my daughter, for obvious reasons...etc. Nice looking and functional, but NOT the original, out side of looks. It seems to work fine but was sorely disappointed in its material weight. At least half that of the original. Can't give it a five because of that alone. And a three star may be harsh from a sentimentality stand point. It's still cool and different from the cheaper ones we find ourselves cursing year after year. Still worth while since it will help with holiday memories for years to come..

I LOVE the tree stand. It doesn't have the name of the company stamped on it like in the picture, but it's not a big deal. The stand is very heavy, I can't wait to put a tree in it.
