Figurine Venus of Willendorf

This is a extremely well done figurine that will look great one anyone's bookshelf, coffee table or desk. It looks like it is real carved stoned or very old kiln fired clay and is actually heavy for it's size. The detail is executed very well and looks very much like the 20,000 year old original found in 1908, right down to the size. While the original did not have a pedestal, this one does and it is quite steady, making setting it any where you like worry free. Shipping was extremely fast (two days!)and came well packaged in a small velvet draw string bag, a surprising touch. The price was comparable to other such statuary I have seen, perhaps a few dollars less. This would make a great gift for the archeology fan or student of ancient religions or just to have something different for that empty space. If I had one complaint, it would be that there was no listing here one it's size, which is 4 inches tall. After some research, I found that this was the size of the original. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised, since that is the size I wanted!All in all, a great piece. I just may order another very soon!

Nice product butIt came smelling very strong of incense. The bag that it was meant to be presented in was not something that could not have been gifted inThe item tasks a few days to air out but it is nice.I wish there was another seller or if this seller was able to control the location on which was product was stored/held

It arrived on time, fast service, good quality. She sits peacefully on my desk.. I'm a Midwifery student, so she mean's quite a bit to me :)

When I ordered this product, I expected it to be larger, based on the dimensions provided. In no way is this figurine as large as stated! It is very tiny compared to my small hand. Also, the figure does NOT look like the picture provided. While cute, I expected something that looked like the photo AND was the same dimensions as stated.

This item is small, but it is of good quality. Love it.

It is what it is. No problems or complaints

As a reproduction it's fails.The dimensions are wrong all over&Her belly button looks odd ( more diamond shaped not oval)Her genitals are also incorrect.Her hands aren't positioned correctly ( should be lower).For some reason they gave her a booty ( should be flat).Her hips have been taken in as well.Most annoying of all they added glitter to her.I'm keeping it because it still can be used in a terrarium I'm gifting & it's too late to fumble with replacements.So why 3 stars. I'm keeping it, and this might be a suitable gift for someone unaware of the differences to the original.. It does seem sturdy
