Failed too soon
I had wanted to say I was really pleased with this pump but after four years it failed. Not sure what went first but I think it seized before water got into the tophalf of the pump that should be completely water tight. The pump was to drain a cellar sump so was always in an inch or two of water but should never have been unde much more than three inches of water if it was doing it's job. Disappointed as really would have expected better from Makita (I have loads of their tools).
