The shorts are cut a bit longer (9" maybe) than the current (6"?) style. I appreciate that and the partial elastic waist that is comfortable and accommodates fat days and skinny days. Very light weight material - would work as swim / quick dry shorts if needed.Read and observe the pocket descriptions. I prefer my wallet at rear left pocket. These shorts have one right rear pocket. Minor difference, but annoying - decided to carry the wallet in a front zipper pocket. Probably better crowd security, overall.

Bought these shorts for my husband, bought large based on size chart, they were too big. After getting the mediums they fit great, lots of pockets, fabric is lightweight and if pulled out of dryer stay wrinkle free. Bought several colors and will be purchasing more.

These are lightweight, very comfortable shorts that I would wear for any outdoor activity such as hiking or running as well as lounging around the house in. The material is a stretchy nylon/spandex combo but it seems pretty rugged although if hiking and took a tumble, I think traditional cotton shorts are going to protect you from abrasions much better. I like the fact that it ahs three zippered pockets and the front pockets while deep enough to carry your phone and other items don't extend all the way to the bottom of the shorts so that carried items are thumping against your legs when walking.That brings me to the weakness of the shorts and what is preventing me from giving it four stars. The waistline is all elastic except for the front side and it is a very weak elastic, much like wearing pajamas or a hospital johnny. My waistline is a 33-34" and the medium size is certainly big enough and in fact, I can pull the front of the shorts, several inches away from my waist. Except for perhaps lounging around the house, this makes wearing a belt a necessity as the shorts will have a tendency to slip down when moving around with objects in the pocket. Would be much better if the waistline only contained a small area of a stronger elastic material or given the stretchy nature of the material itself, perhaps none would be required.

The size is right on. Well made and holding up to everyday wear so far.

I have not tried them on yet but I love the color. The zippered pockets are a must for me so I don't lose things out of my pockets in the car. I wish some of the others were as nice looking as these are. I would like to buy more but these are a little pricey. I like Pudolla products even if they do come from China.

I think my husband has four pair and my teenage son three pair, they fit really really nice and the elastic waistband is great as well. But, they wrinkle super easy, after you dry them, take them out of the dryer immediately. sadly we have to hang them vs putting them in a drawer. The material is nice and lightweight, but because they wrinkle so easily it’s a big thumbs down. Had we known this, we probably wouldn’t have 7 pair in the house! And you can’t tell right away because they come sandwiched in a little bag and they’re super wrinkled from the beginning. So you make the decision with these additional facts.

These shorts are wonderful. Light weight and feel great. they move with you.

Love the material and how comfortable it feels on the skin. The pockets are well designed and so practical, not just for hiking but for other sports like cycling.Wish the green was a brighter shade though. It came too dark, as compared to the pic.Anyway, still will be a fave pair of shorts

I like shorts that have pockets that allow me to carry my wallet, mobile phone and keys. I also like shorts that go down to the knee and that are comfortable to wear. This ticks all of the boxes and I have already bought two more pairs.
