KX-TGE822EB Digital Cordless Phone About 40 minutes Answering Machine with Nuisance Call Block and Dedicated Key, Amplified Sound Double

This phone was bought as replacement for a very old Philips phone. The main reason was the sound quality of the new Panasonic system, which is much better and adjustable for our aging ears. The large keys are a huge benefit compared with the tiny keyboard on mobile phones. Entering our existing contacts into the memory was tedious but relatively simple. The ability to change ringer tones for family, friends and others is useful. The digital display is very good and shows the whole of all incoming numbers on a single line, in contrast to some BT phones which cannot show 11 digit numbers on a line without scrolling. So far it seems to be an excellent system and does what it says in the description. In particular the answering system appears to work well and can be accessed from either a handset or the base station. We have not had many scam or nuisance calls, so I am not sure how well the call blocking system works, other than providing a separate ring tone for unknown numbers.

Straight forward to set up, large keys, good answer machine gives you name and number before pick up (voice control). Got for my 90ur old mum who can use it no problems. Cordless, we got the double, volume good maybe could be a little higher for those hard of hearing, but has a boost button for that . Not bad for the money. Stylish and quite well made .

This is an excellent phone, very easy to set up and use, with crystal clear sound. I ordered this phone because the cheaper corded one we were using had a terrible crackling in the background every time we made a call so I decided to spend a bit more money. It was well worth it.

So I just got migrated to BT Digital voice, nothing but problems. At one point I was told my phones were too old and I needed new ones. I did a ton of research and this phone said it would work wit BT Digital voice and was basically the newer fancier version of the phones I've had and loved for years. It IS a nice set of phones. Very good adjustable volume settings- you can get it quite loud if you need to. Very customizable for ring tones, DND modes, call blocking- answering machine features. The works- all the bells and whistles. The instruction manual is a small novel and tells you everything. Unfortunately this phone just does NOT work with BT Digital voice. 6 calls with BT, and every tinker, black magic spell and voodoo ritual you could think of and it just doesn't work. So sadly I had to refund them because £70 is too much money for something that didn't fix my problem. The AI may tell you that it works with BT Digital voice but I can assure you that it does NOT, so if that is what you're after buy something else. If you just need nice phones these are great!

I bought this for a relative with poor hearing and it has been a great success, the quality of the sound is great when making or receiving calls, the volume control is excellent, the layout is clear easy to use and it looks good, the number of spam calls has reduced and overall speaking personally it’s been great value for money.

Very nice , if they provide led key pad more attractive.

Disgraceful bought these from Amazon Australia and when the product arrived they had English plugsThere was no mention or warning that these phone had English sockets Not happy 1 bit

Good Battery life - Sound quality is average. Build quality is good but not excellent
