I recently started using this scar tape, and although it's still early in my journey, I wanted to share my initial thoughts and experiences. While I can't speak to its long-term effectiveness in fading scars just yet, I've heard and read many positive reviews about it. This is coming from a person that's used roll-ons, gel tubes, clear patches, pre-cut strips, etc. For newly-knitted surgical scars, old hypertrophic scars, and some annoying scar blemishes. Out of all of them, this one has been the most effective and efficient at minimizing their appearance and projection. I had two surgeries within 4 months of each other and old scars from different points in my life, and these made my life a lot easier.Following surgeon's instructions rather than what was on the box. They are waterproof in that they will continue to be usable after they get wet, but I did find they slide off in the shower if not held on with medical tape. Not a problem for me to take them off for showers so I could clean and exfoliate anyway. I wear them for ten days before the adhesion starts to go (that is with taking them off for showers and reapplying them). Medical tape keeps them in place easily if you don't want to remove them at all for up to two weeks. But my surgeon did recommend no longer than two week increments before giving the skin a break for a day or two (perfect timing for friction massage to break up the scar tissue adhesions).I have a skin condition that makes me inconsistently allergic to things, and I have sensory issues. This one gave me no real problems, but I was more aware of placement on more sensitive skin like wrists. Does have perforated segments, but can be cut with scissors. I use sharper scissors to make it easier, but regular ones are fine, just make sure to clean them (goo happens).

I'm really pleased with this product. This is my second day of using it and application is easy. I actually feel that my anterior hip replacement scar is slightly improving already. I had surgery in early January and my incision has healed well although it was still bumpy and feeling uncomfortable. The scar tape seems to have started to smooth out some of the redness and uneven areas. I will update as time goes on. The tape is so comfortable I forget I have it on.

I bought this tape to make my own eyelid tapes and I can make many eyelid tapes with this roll. After I cut my eye tapes, the adhesion is really good and I feel it is safe for my eyelid skin. Once it gets some body heat it seals real good and stays on all day until I peel it off at night. It will not wash off, you need to peel it off so you could go swimming with this tape and it stays on. It blends in with my skin color and I feel no one can tell I have it on.

I first bought this in January 2024 for my first knee replacement surgery. The first roll that I tried was great. Stayed on perfectly and was good for at least four or five uses. I loved it so much that I ordered a second roll. That one was garbage. It didn’t adhere to the skin for longer than 20 or 30 minutes. I found it stuck to my sheets or the insides of my pants. I thought that it was a fluke and I just got a bad roll, so I returned and re-ordered with the same results. I am so disappointed because when it works, it works great.

I bought this four months ago but wanted to wait until I had used it for that long to write a review. I worked my way up to wearing the tape around 15 hours a day. I had unexpected emergency surgery on my abdomen that left me with a five inch scar. I've used the tape on that new scar, as well as on an older scar on my knee nearly every day for the past four months, and it really does work.Granted, I don't know what my abdomen scar would look like otherwise, but it has definitely lightened my older scar and my large one looks great for only four months out. I wear the tape during the day and use natural bio oil at night. There is no need to shower with it or sleep with it for me.I find that I can get many days use of out a piece of tape this way, and I use medical tape to help it stick after a few days. I like that you can cut the tape to whatever size you need. As I said, I've been using it every day for four months, and I still have plenty of tape left. I was looking at some other expensive tapes, but this cost-effective one really does the trick.

These are absolutely awful! This is the worst scar tape I've used, it is very sticky, so it definitely stays in place, but it leaves the adhesive all over your skin when you go to pull it off, and it's nearly impossible to remove even with rubbing alcohol. The sheets are individually perforated, and they stick so firmly to the backing that they're nearly impossible to pull off without all ripping apart, so if you have a c-section scar or a longer scar that you're trying to cover, these will be a nightmare to put on. I had to ask my husband for help, which he was more than happy to do, but it took 30 minutes of our time just to get these off of my scar, they were absolutely atrocious. I cannot recommend these in any way, they didn't seem to do much for my scar, and the pain in the butt that they were to both put on and take off, and the adhesive that is still sucked my skin, means that I can only say I would highly recommend that no one purchase these!

I had high hopes for this silicone tape for my scars, but it really fell short. It didn’t stick properly, so I was always having to readjust it. I even ended up with some redness, which forced me to remove it altogether.
