desertcart.com: Tablift Tablet Stand for The Bed, Sofa, or Any Uneven Surface - Universal for All Tablets… (White) : Electronics Review: Perfect for reading/watching in bed - I put my Fire 8 tablet in it (without the case, which wouldn't fit), laid down in bed, set it up to straddle my belly, and could read Kindle books or watch YouTube videos or whatever's on Prime in bed. In the pictures on desertcart it looks like you have to prop your head up until it's almost vertical, and this is not true. I always have a long pillow under my back and head, another bed pillow under my head, and that's how I sleep, to help with reflux and sinuses. When I want to watch my tablet with this thing, I have a little pillow I add to that to elevate and tilt my head just a bit, not much. Perfect. It has a flat plastic hook that's attached to the top of the thing with a strong elastic band, and you can fasten the tablet securely in place with that, which I do. It's long enough to reach the top of my tablet when it's in the portrait orientation, and when I turn it 90° for the landscape orientation, I pull the hook around the bottom of the top (the part where the hinges are) before pulling it up to the top of the tablet, and that works great. All of the legs operate independently, so it's very easy to get it level and positioned just right. I love it. You can put a cell phone in it, too, but not with a case on it. Whatever you put in it needs to be thin, but I'm very happy with how securely things stay in it. If I weren't afraid I would fall asleep with it in place and then knock it over in my sleep, I probably wouldn't strap the tablet in. It's also nice, when I'm ready to set it aside, to just grab the top of it and set it on the other side of the bed, or on the floor, tablet and all. Review: Yes, it’s ridiculous. And awesome! - I saw this on a list of “ridiculous items you’ll actually use.” I bought one to hold my iPad Mini when I’m using it in bed at night. It seems very much like a gag gift, but it’s actually perfect for what I wanted. My hands start to fall asleep when I’m lying in bed at night holding the iPad above my face. (Yes, I have dropped the iPad on my face and given myself a bloody lip. Twice. First world problems.) This is adjustable and feels very heavy and sturdy so you don’t worry about it collapsing or tipping over on your bed. I got a used one because I kind of hated myself for buying it LOL, but I’m so glad I did! I sleep flat on my back and this thing is still able to put the iPad at an angle where I can see it even without being very propped up. It’s shockingly useful!

Love it but movement is limited
I love and hate this thing. It's perfect in that it helps avoid bad posture or cramps. No more holding my kindle and having to hold my arm out or read on my side. Great for not slouching when you're sitting! There are 3 slots to provide 3 different angles from 90 to maybe 55 degrees downward. Basically, awesome in that way BUT you must lay down to best use it. You can use while sitting on the floor but it only angles up so much. It lessens the amount you have to slouch or lower your head but only to a limit. AND you have to lie pretty still or the kindle falls out with any jostling whatsoever. You can't fidget or anything as there's not that much wiggle room. I'm on the petite side and I don't have much wiggle room so...in summary, awesome to use when laying down perfectly still. Ok, in sitting position but best for your posture when laying down. One awesome thing though, I can use it in a hot soak in the tub because it's metal coated in plastic! Also, it looks a bit war of the worlds freaky but you get use to it. All that being said, 5 stars because I LOVE reading for hours and this is the only way I can do that without compromising my neck and back.

If you keep your iPad in a case...
A reviewer warned of the necessity to read the dimensions of the tablet that would fit into the Tablift. I thought I measured my 5th generation iPad in the case correctly, but I must have been off. My iPad in the case is too wide for the slot in the Tablift and I think it is important to keep in the case. Even though my tablet doesn't fit, I gave the product 4 stars. I was impressed by the stability of the Tablift in my bed, no matter how the covers were arranged. I bought the Tablfit to keep from looking down at my iPad while streaming. I am able to lean my iPad against the Tablift and keep my head up. It would have been great if I could have raised the iPad on top of the Tablift but it is still an improvement for me.

Fantastic! And just what I needed!
Nearly 2 months ago I was living with a serious cataract in my right eye and a lesser one in the left. which seriously affected my vision. Was not able to see my TV in the living room or the bedroom. I bought a 10/1 inch tablet but it was heavy to hold for long and slippery without the silicone case that I was using. Several times while laying in bed I dozed off and dropped the tablet on my face. Luckily it didn't cause any damage. But felt like it could break my nose eventually. I was just thinking that somebody should invent something like this and then it appeared here on Amazon when I did a search! I LOVE IT! I've since had cataract surgery and can now see my TV's again but still use the tab lift. It's sturdy and works great. I use it for reading Kindle books on my tablet too. This product is ingenuous and works fantastic! I highly recommend it.

This gadget is a fantastic idea and well made. Unfortunately it's not universal...
This gadget is a fantastic idea and well made. Unfortunately it's not universal... I have an 11" iPad pro with a sturdy cover on it, and I was hoping that this holder would work for me. In short, the slots are not wide enough to accommodate an iPad Pro (2018) with a cover, unless the cover is paper thin. I tried it with my husband's iPad, same model as mine, which has Apple's folio cover on it. His iPad fit with the back part of the cover in the slot and the front part flapping to the side. It would not fit with the front tucked in behind. I wish there was a different model, or some way to make the slot variable, so that it would fit a tablet and it's cover. It's a pain to remove the cover, and defeats the purpose of having a cover, so it's a non-starter. Maybe make wider slots and use foam padding to accommodate more models? Also, the bungee was a bit tight when using the iPad in portrait mode. It fit, but put some pressure on the tablet. Making the length of the bungee variable would be a great improvement. It could be done with the same kind of clasp that is used on parkas...

Works so well!
I like to sit in my recliner and read. This holds my E reader just perfectly. It rests on the arms of my chair and is easy to adjust. It still allows space for my cat to sit in my lap. I purchased a bicycle cell phone holder and attached it to one of the arms. So I can have my cell phone right there in front of me also. This is wonderful for me because I am unable to hold these devices in my hands for very long without suffering pain and cramping. It is not very light weight but I think that makes it more sturdy. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome! Tablet no longer face-plants on me! in bed.
Love this. I have a tablet "couch" and anytime I was laying in bed reading with it, the tablet would fall on my chest if I moved even a little. That doesn't happen with this little gem. Just set the 4 legs where you want them (preferably a little above your body) and you can move around under this tablet holder (within reason) without getting smacked in the face or chest by your tablet. I read that you should not use with the thin iPads. They're not sturdy enough and will bend. I have an older very sturdy Samsung nook tablet and have no problem with that. This new tablet holder was especially needed now since I've had to be in bed a lot lately (due to ankle surgery). No more frustrating tablet resets.

Awesome Tablet Stand
This stand is excellent, and exactly what I needed. I've used it in the bed, on the couch, and even hanging over my bed (it "grabbed" onto the headboard and held the iPad horizontally over my head). The build quality is great; the legs are stiff and will easily hold a tablet up, and the bungie-cord that clips onto the tablet feels like it'll last a long time. I've also put the iPad in the stand for my son to watch something on the couch. He was always putting the iPad on his lap and hunching over to watch it, and now he's looking ahead. I also had to get ahold of the company, Nbryte, due to an Amazon mixup, and they were EXCELLENT to deal with. Great product from a great company - you can't go wrong.

Prodotto utile e funzionale
