Closeness. Comfort. Power. That's what you get with the Remington Maximum Comfort HyperFlex Advanced Rotary Shaver. The HyperFlex design allows the entire shaver head to adjust to the contours of your face, with a pivoting neck and three floating rotary heads that tilt and flex independently to provide consistent skin contact. This shaver features an anti microbial additive that inhibits bacterial growth. Plus, WETech lets you shave wet or dry for your ultimate comfort, and the powerful lithium battery provides weeks of shaving with every charge.

Liked it until the beard trimmer fell off.
This shaver has a good ergonomic design and great "hand feel". The battery lasts several shavings and the stand up charging dock is a nice feature. I am also happy with the smooth, close shave. Like the idea of being able to rinse in water to clean although I rarely find the need to do that.Unfortunately all the positives don't make up for the negative of it being defective. The beard trimmer suddenly popped off for no apparent reason. The shaver has never been dropped or mistreated in any way. I have made several attempts to reattach with no luck. With no beard trimmer I now have to use a separate trimmer for my sideburns, etc. which is a huge pain. Needless to say I am not happy with the quality of this shaver.

Chintzy-feel; not a comfortable shave for me
The head of the shaver felt chintzy and made mostly of what appeared to be plastic. While I feel the quality of the shave is up to each person to decide, I did not feel it provided me with comfortable shave. Instead, It pulled more hairs than I would have liked and left my fave feeling chafed and uncomfortable. I should note that I took all the preshave steps (warm water on face, used pre-electric shave lotion, moved in a circular motion, etc.) and even tried it for 2 weeks to adjust ti a new shaver. It still underperformed for the reasons listed above. I returned it.

Poor Quality
Loved this razor, but less than a year since purchase and the pop up trimmer flew off the razor. The razor has not been dropped or mistreated and the plastic piece that holds the trimmer on broke. Now the trimmer won't stay on the razor. The quality should be better on a razor like this. Aside from that the razor shaves great and the battery maintains a charge for several days without recharging.

Nice shaver
My husband is very happy with it. It's exactly like his old one that was at least a couple of years old. The mustache trimming tool broke off that one, so I fear the same will happen with this one, but only time will tell.

My husband really likes it. He is an older man with coarse whiskers. After he used it a couple of times, he was delighted. The shaver is used in the shower and out of the shower. He likes both ways, but basically uses it out of the shower. His comments were that it is light, consistent shaving, easy to hold and use. It charges nicely and is always ready. To clean it, he just runs it under the faucet. He has had it a month or more and is still happy with it.

Excellent close smooth shave
Excellent shave, especially for coarse hair. Must be good for fine hair which most shavers take care of.I had bought the Phillips earlier and it did not handle coarse or Asian Beards.

It's nice but the cutting head doesn't seem to cut like my older Remington's. Sort of reminds me of a Norelco I had a long time ago. I like Remington's because they seem to cut coarse hair better than Braun or Norelco.

Remington standards at a great price!
The rotating blades float over your face and cleanly cuts the face hairs. Moves easily and covers even the hard to reach spots. Cleans like a dream and travels perfectly. You gotta love a Remington!

It cuts
First time using it & the last :(I’ve owned many electric shavers over the years but I’ve never had a shaver irritate and leave cut lines on my throat the way this one did :(

Falls apart
Within 2 months of use the trimmer fell off of the razor. Not surprising really given the tiny plastic hinge pins attaching the trimmer to the body. Stay clear of this product. Oh, and the shave is poor too.

No frills Rotary razor
First impressions were good but not satisfying, a very budget oriented model with little to no frills. Just a reliable travel razor you don't mind losing. Standard 3 rotary head and pop up trimmer configuration; heads do a good job at following my face's contours but it does take multiple shaves to get a good result. The best feature of this razor is it's wet technology that allows you to shave in the shower, I haven't fully immersed the unit but splashes and a very wet face have not damaged it.The worst part of this offering is the charging base, it's shaped like a duck's mouth and has to be unfolded to hold the razor during charging, it's light weight and cheap feeling; pretty sure this will be the first thing to break.

Works well. Smooth and easy to use. Same price as leading brands.
5-stars for travelling purposes. The unit is rechargeable, and you can go without recharging again for at least a couple of weeks. So, if you are someone who shaves every single day, it still lasts more than a week on one full charge. That makes it very useful for travel.4-stars for value for money. The price (selling at $80 as I write this review) is very competitive with its competing brands. The Philips 5000 series that I already have also costs about the same. So, the price is competitive but not cheaper than competitors.4-stars for comfort of use. The blades are indeed sharp and if you are using this for the first time, you may get some bruises the first few times. Once you get adjusted to using this, then everything works fine and smooth. Like most electric shavers these days, this unit also works on both wet and dry beard. However, it works better on wet beard because the shaving foam used in the beard provides the much needed lubrication needed to avoid skin cuts and burns.
