Not for shorties
The bow is awesome, the range shots are only 20 yards but got it sighted in and took it out twice in the yard. I am only 5'6 and i have to leg lock and arch my back to get the thing cocked. Reason for refund is that, the reason for the return was because the limb cracked as soon as it was cocked in the backyard. Lesson, if you're 5'6 or shorter get less of a powerstroke (i went to the local shop and got a wicked ridge blackhawk 360 so 13.5 powerstroke VS the 15 this has, didn't think inch and a half would be a big deal but boy was i wrong

SYKD for a RIPOFF!!!!
Bow limbs split after about 5 shots. Thankful I still have my face! The seller said if I wanted to pay to have someone fix my brand new bow and pay to ship back the cracked limbs they would send me replacement limbs.Asked for a full refund and am still waiting for a response! They refuse to talk by phone as well.

Absolutely Impressed!
Arrived within days, although I'm not far from the company, and packaged well. Very simple to put together, i was impressed with overall construction of the components, especially the rail and trigger. It took 3, yes 3 bolts to zero in the scope at 20 yards, and from there pushed out to 50 yard shots and it still was punching into the target with plenty of force/energy.I don't know how you guys did it, but this is on hell of a crossbow, and I am already looking to purchase another one.

Easy to assemble the main crossbow, the instructions could be a little better on cranking device
It was very easy to assemble, I was very curious how I was going to get it with it strung and it wasn’t a problem at all, the only issue I had was with the cranking device. When looking at the instructions I messed up and missed a step when you put the string of the cranking device in a groove near the bottom of the sight and tried to use the cranking device incorrectly, tying several knots in the string at my negligence and ruined the device. It was not a total inconvenience because I could crank the bow with my hands, but maybe a bigger more zoomed out picture in the instructions would help? I also thing that a product could be made where y’all just make plastic hooks with no string that people can use to crank the bow. Overall I think it’s a great looking and performing crossbow, and they did a lot of things right, but I think they could make the instructions a little more clear

Solid...well built crossbow. Very lightweight. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I was shopping for crossbows for weeks and I had heard of this company prior as they were advertised in the Pennsylvania Hunting & Trapping Digest. I started my research and since they are so new, there hasn't been a lot of reviews on them yet, and the $499 price tag was higher than I was hoping to spend. After days and days of researching the other big names of the crossbow industry, I was at a standstill. Sykd kept on fitting all of the features I was looking for in a new crossbow, including a better scope. I had some Amazon gift cards to use, so I decided to jump on board with Sykd.Package came within 2 days despite the shipping estimated time to be 5 days so there's a plus.Started unboxing and reviewing the users manual to start putting together, only to realize that I was missing the cable slide needed to install the front end. After searching the floor and realizing it was not included, I called the customer service number in the manual and left a message. It was a Saturday and outside the normal business hours.Within TWO HOURS..I received a call back from the OWNER of the company apologizing for the inconvenience and would mail a cable slide to me ASAP. The replacement was mailed on Monday and received on Tuesday and I was able to finish assembly very quickly.Started my practice shots and had the scope sighted in no time. The crossbow itself is nice and light. 3 Quality made 22in carbon bolts with practice tips. 4x32 illuminated scope with red/blue/black crosshairs, adjustable/removable stock and the cocking rope was included.Option to purchase full package that comes fully assembled and pre-sighted in with case, sling, and set of 3 broadheads. This is Sykd's first crossbow on the market. Being a new company there are always kinks to work out but I am more than impressed and very happy I decided to choose this company and crossbow. If you're in the market for one, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

BEWARE!!!
I have owned this SYKD crossbow for LESS than ONE year. While out hunting this year during the rut, I was in a tree stand with my 12 year old child. The crossbow limb broke while we were sitting in the stand. Not a good situation.

Shoots good, customer service is good
Bought this bow for my wife to start shooting/hunting with. Came in timely manner. I went to put it together and noticed the cable had a Knick/fray in the cable. Contacted customer service and they had me ship the front end to them. When they shipped it back, they sent just a whole another bow, now I have double of everything except one front end. Shot it yesterday and shot great

went through 3 limb replacements
I bought it in August, shot it ten times and a limb cracked. i took it to a Bowhunter Superstore near my house and they replaced the limb. they pulled the string back and the new limb cracked. They put the 3rd limb on and pulled it back and shot it once. they said they didn't want to shoot another arrow because they were afraid it would crack again. They said they will never sell another Sykd bow. all they have is problems. Now i need to try to get my money back from the company for the repair costs that i have into it and try to get my money back for the bow. i don't trust it. Clearly inferior material used for the limbs. i'm not the only one with the issue apparently. When the manufacturer sends their dealers extra replacement limbs to have in stock, you know there is an issue.
