Simple and easy
Fantastic! I couldn’t have expected anything more or anything less.Does exactly what it supposed to. And does it accurately. No messing about calibration, quick and efficient.Highly highly recommend.Get this before you start messing around with the digital meters and gauges. I’ve tried some of the cheaper digital ones. Right here on Amazon, they all had glass probe which breaks if they were knocked a little. They would fail to operate if the probes dried out. At £15-£20 a pop I couldn’t care for replacements. Then there’s more pro level equipment directly purchased from garden and agriculture businesses, cost hell of a lot more and require a fraction more maintenance and the probes do cost a little more to replace but a whole lot better. But for my needs for gardening at home, absolutely. No messing around quickly test the ph and ph down as required. It does leave some amount of dye in the solution you’re testing, so test a sample in beaker separately.

Good walue for money. Accurate.
The pack includes plenty of strips, making it a great value for the price. The results are quick and accurate, which is perfect for testing everything. I tested it on water and some cosmetics. The color chart is clear and easy to match.Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable pH testing at home or work!

They work.
I have a PH pen so tested the strips in the 7ph, 4ph calibration fluid and my tap water which is 9ph+, they all matched the colours on the chart.Used well over half a book in an evening just testing my water while lowering the ph by adding some ph down using a pipet and the strips were all changing colour as expected.Made sure it was correct at the end with the ph pen.Came in a factory sealed and ziplocked bag.

Is not bad but not very accurate but is quick
It is easy to use, however it goes ver alkaline of very acidic to get any decent reading but for the price is not bad, I tried it compare to my digital PH meter and sometimes the reading is close but , I DJ do myself using this most times especially since all formulation am testing it with us not commercial. It is easy to use with quick result. I prefer the wheel one I used before this though cos you can wipe it if is wet when comparing the test but with this the paper are soaked easily.

Simple and accurate
Bought in an emergency as my very expensive PH pen has just packed up and I check the PH of my hydroponic solution every 3 days, as I can not afford a replacement Blue lab just yet I decided to go old school and get litmus paper (does anyone still call it that?) and it does the job.I keep my PH between 5.2 and 6.2 and obviously this paper does not have that degree of accuracy but it at least tells me I am in the right range and not dipping below 5.0 as occurs with nutrient absorbtion over a period of days.I checked the paper with a few liquids such as vinegar, lemon juice and bottled water and it it does give an accurate reading.Only a fiver for 5 packs of strips and each pack is individually sealed in plastic so very good value too.Better than buying one of those useless yellow PH pens for £7.99.Cheap and they do the job.

The instructions are backwards
The instructions in the listing are backwards, I tested this with citric acid but they do work. Having never used litmus paper before this confused me massively for quite a time.

Not working strips
Total rubbish. No instructions. Used it with distilled water. Results the same on each sample I used it, from rubbish sandy soil where nothing is growing to premium garden soil used to grow vegetables
