These are very nice quality! The leather is excellent and the zipper seems heavy duty. However, the sizing given on the listing is SO nebulous. The manufacturer did not base the sizes via S, M, L etc. but rather numerical sizing. I ordered a small for my slim 8 year old daughter and they were so tiny. The tag showed them to be a size 6. So, I reordered them as a medium and this time they came with the tag of size 8 and they are perfect. They are a slim fit which is great for my daughter but she is very slim. I would agree with the other review that these do indeed run small in terms of most American children's sizing even though they do have a stretch panel. Other than that, they are very lovely chaps.

Decent material, zipper was a little stiff at first but loosen after a couple wears. Fits as expected.

Zipper should be placed on top not bottom. Too small for my 9yr old, who weighs 50 lbs. Their largest size is too tight.

Just received the largest pair they offer and I even measured my 9 year olds calves to make sure I got she right size and, when I went to try the first one on, the second I tried to pull the zipper up in fell apart in my hands. It was probably the cheapest looking zipper pull I have ever seen. Why would they make this out of cheap plastic??? I went ahead and tried the other one on and, although the zipper stayed in tack, it was way too tight for her to wear comfortably.

While they were initially a little tight for my 6 year old, they were still wearable and after a few wears, they did loosen a bit and became easier to get on but still snug enough to not slip or move around.

They sent us literally two different chaps…different styles, sizes, zippers. The one is okay, the other is too long and has a cheap zipper that breaks apart. Terrible quality control. Super unhappy with this product. Returning it for a refund and ordering from somewhere else.

These are very nice quality but run very small.

Zipper in back is awkward to get on yourself. Also make sure to wear leggings or socks - zipper got caught in skin as it was unzipping.
