Wonderskin Lip Stain Kit – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off

The dark red comes out a nice milder red tint. It doesn’t last all day but maybe an hour or so. I like it

A great lip stain, it is smudge resistant and really easy to use. It is easily wiped off and lasts! The colour whimsical is lovely! Really recommend.

I bought the shade 'adore'. The colour is nice. A bit more subtle. The product is expensive for what it is. I can't imagine the tube lasting so long because you have to put it on quite thick to get a good colour. It doesnt last the whole day. Maybe 5 or 6 hours, less if you are eating. At first my lips are soft after I apply it but they dry out over the few hour. ** Top tip if you buy the kit : when using the spray to remove the product, spray it directly on to the cloth and not your lips. You will use far less spray that way. Two sprays on the cloth is enough.

When I first received this lip stain and applied it, I must say it was a stunning classic red and made me look like a movie star. More than a year later, this tube of lip stain has dried up, and when I apply the dry blue, which is now a powder, it is just a very faint, uneven orangey-red. The lip stain is no longer usable. I literally used this lip stain only once or twice, maybe three times, last year. I stored it properly, closed tightly in its original packaging, in a cool, dark place. Most of my other Wonderskin lip stains (all bought around the same time, over a year ago) are as fresh as the day I opened them. I remember this particular shade was not as long-lasting as the other shades I have. In terms of price, at the current full prices, this lip kit costs £28, while the Lip Stain Activator costs £9 and the lip stain costs £18 when bought separately. So this lip kit costs £1 more than if these items were bought individually at full price. I would definitely recommend this shade if it hadn’t dried out and wasn’t defective.

Colour wasn’t great (but individual) also could be coincidental but got a cold sore after using this product.

I absolutely love Wonderskin lip stains. They are so easy to use, and leave such a natural long lasting colour on the lips. Perfect for someone like me who doesn’t want to constantly reapply a lipstick.

I bought two different Wonderblade shades (having found the first was waaaaay darker than the photos) to take on holiday and have been hugely disappointed with both. Neither peels cleanly off in one piece when using the activator, despite me following the instructional video on the website. But most disappointing has been poor colour payoff and lack of longevity. The website promises strong colour stain and many reviews have said how long the colour lasts. I found that the colour pay off was fairly weak, even when leaving on for a lot longer than required as well as layering, and as for pay off I got maybe an hour or two at most, less if I was eating. Given this is supposed to be the fundamental selling point of this product, for me at least it comes up way short. It left me without a decent red lip product on holiday which was very frustrating. Shame I didn't buy direct from product website because then I could have returned them!

Dommage ça tient pas sur moi j’ai peut-être pas choisi la bonne couleur par rapport à ma carnation. Je l’ai appliqué le matin et dès que j’ai mangé mon déjeuner le midi j’en avais plus, je préfère mais rouge à lèvres Waterproof.

So the longevity of this stain really depends on how long you leave it on. If you follow the minimum time as instructed by the label, your stain will only last a few hours and not be very saturated. Regarding the color: definitely check the chart with all the different color models- look at the one that's closest to you to determine how the color will look on your lips. Don't look at the swatch colors, they're misleading. The longer you leave it on, the darker the color. Get the activator because sure you can remove it by rubbing it off, but you're also rubbing your lips raw and it's messy, takes time. You remove it when your lips are wet with the activator. The taste of the stain/masque is really nice with a cooling serum feel. The activator doesn't taste the best but it isn't nasty. Also try to close your mouth so it doesn't go in.

Das ist der perfekte *Lippenstift* obwohl es ja keiner ist aber die Farbe hält mega lang kein verschmieren oder sonst was. Wird definitiv nochmal bestellt.

Je ne recommande pas ce produit. La couleur n'est pas uniforme sur les lèvres et ça ne dure vraiment pas longtemps. Je n'aime pas du tout et je regrette de ne pas m'être fiée aux commentaires négatifs et au faible pointage.
