This is the ideal trash and recycling solution for a small household. It holds about 1–2 days’ worth of waste for my family, which is just right. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and it does an excellent job containing odors—there’s no smell unless the lid is open. It comes with two 8-gallon bins inside, plus a starter pack of 20 8-gallon bags, which was a nice bonus. The bins are easy to lift out when it’s time to change the liners. I especially appreciate the clever little hole inside that lets you tuck in excess bag material—perfect if you’re using slightly larger liners. Just twist and tuck, and the bag stays securely in place. The only downside was that it arrived with a small dent on one side, despite being well-packaged. Thankfully, it’s on the side facing the wall, so it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, this trash/recycle can is sleek, functional, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this trash can! It’s exactly what I was looking for. The dual-compartment design for both recycling and regular trash is incredibly convenient and helps keep everything organized in one place. It’s perfect for a home and my apartment! Having both bins combined saves me the hassle of dealing with two separate trash cans while still making recycling easy. It looks great, feels sturdy, and has made my kitchen much more organized. Highly recommend!

Very pretty and a good size - fits right by the end of my island. The foot pedals are slightly heavier to press than I expected but not too heavy. Looks do much nicer than your average kitchen trash bin.

I like keeping garbage in the same container as the recyclables. Keeping all garbage in one area, allows me to save space in my kitchen. The lid closes slowly and this really works for my family. We do not like a lid that slams down.This garbage can is very heavy, and will not tip over without some force. It looks good in my kitchen, and the finish resists fingerprints. For the negative, you must completely remove both garbage and recyclable inserts in order to remove the filled bag of garbage. It’s the same when replacing the bag. The inserts fit with one slightly resting on the other. I feel this garbage can is extremely overpriced! My garbage can did not come with the promised odor reducers. I do not have a dog, but I’ve had them in the past. A small dog could not knock this can over but a large dog could.

Was shocked at how hard it was for me to pick a new trash can when our old one broke, but did lots of research and landed on this one! Worth the price! The separate recycling bin is so easy to remove to take out to dump in our recycling bin, and love that it has a little handle for easy carrying. Lid closure is quiet and it fits sleekly in our kitchen — doesn't seem as bulky and big as our old one, even though it is technically larger.

I changed my review from 3 to 5 stars because the replacement was in perfect condition and works great. (1st review: Ours arrived with a big dent on one side both corners. Like something heavy was on it. We will replace and hope for the best. If it arrives dented again, I think we will move on. But if it wasn't dented, looks real nice.)

My son had a similar trash /recycle can. I am very pleased that this one is slightly larger than his, so it holds more. I also like the easy open lids so they do not slam up.

Great trash can and I lined getting my recycling off the counter. A year and a half later the green bin broke. Contacted Customer Service for a new one but they don’t have any in stock nor are they getting any new ones in stock. So now I have to buy a new trash can.

Satisfyingly heavy and strongly constructed! Like it a lot!

Bin is fine for the most part but major, ridiculous design flaw is that the smaller compartment for food waste has a metal handle and it attaches to the bin INSIDE the compartment! Hence these rip holes into both sides of your full bin bag as you’re struggling to pull it out! Honestly if they did any kind of UAT they would have noticed this.
