Brightex XR-700 Pro Kit Real UL Lab Tested 700 Lumens

Okay, so I'm a nit-picky customer at times. At $37.95, which is what I paid for this flashlight, I think I'm entitled to be. I know you can actually spend $200-$300 on a light but that is way too rich for my blood. When I bought this the full price was $50.00 but I got it on sale for 25% off via an Amazon Lightning Deal. Shortly after I bought this, they dropped the everyday price to $38.95 but I am still happy with my purchase.After I received the light, they followed up with an email to verify delivery and to give me their contact information.I liked this when I got it and I first examined it. It has as sturdy a build quality as one could ever hope for.I REALLY LOVE the more natural daylight tint of the light as opposed to the blue tint of other flashlights. The fact that one can use AAA batteries (AAA adapter included) or 18650 batteries (adapter included) or 26650 batteries in this unit makes it versatile and longer lasting than non-26650 units.This light also uses the recently released CREE XM-L2 U2 LED lamp and it is BRIGHT! Cree states that this LED is 20% brighter than the older T6. If you get bothered by a gremlin in the dark, surprise him with the strobe light and they’ll be gone in an instant.Then I began a lengthy email conversation with Kim from Brightex. I was looking for information on a replacement battery for the flashlight since Brightex does not sell replacements for the 26650 battery that comes with the light. I was admittedly a little rude complaining about the lack of info on the battery. There was nothing wrong with the battery that came with the light; I just wanted to make sure that if it died in the 13th month, I would not be stuck with a $37 paperweight.It turns out that there are numerous different sizes (lengths) for the 26650s. Also flat top vs button top, protected vs non-protected and a multitude of prefixes: BRC, ICR, NCR, IMR, MT and other considerations. I mention this because all I wanted was a functional flashlight, not starting a new hobby just to get a light that I could keep using for the foreseeable future.I had quite a number of emails back and forth with Kim and she always answered quickly and fully. That is not always the case with post-sales support these days.In the long run, I ended up finding a replacement (spare) 26650 battery.I think this a great company to start with if you are just getting into quality flashlights. I’d call with pre-sales questions and rest easy knowing one can get good follow-up post-sales support.If and when something changes in the future I will look at Brightex before I go anywhere else.Highly recommend this unit.Now I'm gonna have to get another to keep in the car, another for my wife, another for our son and another for my left hand.

Loved my 600 lumen one so much I bought the 700 lumen one. If you're tired of buying new "2000 lumen" flashlights hoping that this time, it won't be a piece of junk that maybe puts out 100 lumens, STOP. Just BUY THIS ONE already. It delivers on its specs, and comes with adapters for 18650 and even AAA batteries, too.P.S. Gave Dad the 600 lumen one so he'd have a decent light around the house. He, of course, loves it.

Well, at first skeptical and hesitant with buying a Brightex product, BUT after buying the FL11 (600 Lumens) I absolutely recommend any of the Brightex flashlights. I recently bought the XR-700 since I was going to use it strictly for work and leave one at home. This product came with charger and battery which is a super plus in my book. After I got my first XR-700, I bit another XR-700 two weeks after because I like the product that much. So I have one for work, one for home and one for the car. Don't be skeptical this is a great product. I had contacted customer service to inquire about one thing and low and behold they had responded within the same day. So customer service is great and very responsive. The price for the flashlight is a great deal for the high quality product you receive.

when i open it i seen it is the right size for me, you can ajust the zoom in and out withthe same hand with no problem... inthe first night that i was using it i dropped from about 10' 3 times and it still working like notthing happened, no scratch, look like it is made from good quality materials.. when using the zoom in and out in one option it is pretty wide and lights perfect for the distance and in the other option it is good light but... i would love it if it could have cleaner light on the spot or more brighter..

This is a great light! Incredibly bright and clear light. I had one in my glove box for weeks before I ended up at a crime scene in the middle of the night. I expected it to be dead or dim, but it was bright as ever and lasted up until I had finished. It is small enough to carry with you and the clip is very handy to keep it in a pocket with easy access.

I was told that this flashlight was 2 - 3 times brighter than the rest. No Way. The zoom is terrible too compared to the others. Don't believe their "lab studies".

Would give five stars just belt clip is an adde d improvement but mine keeps popping off. The holder that came with the first one lasted a week or two before broke. Difficult to carry in your pocket

The light works great! Only problem is the lanyard broke virtually immediately- notified them- have heard nothing. I can't not give the light 5 stars because of a lanyard!
