Vivon Comfort Foam / Lounging Accent Chair / Chaise Lounge / for the Bedroom / Family Room / Game Room, Black

Finally! I got my new lounging chair - I wanted something between a recliner and chaise! I previously got the Vivon Cocoon chair as a gift and wanted to purchase another one for my husband since he complains I never share - the chair is amazing. I was planning to get him his own chair but I saw this Lounging chair with the same brand. Of course I needed to have it! It always surprises me how memory ships since its compressed and in box (similar to a mediumish moving box). There is hardly any set up - you let is decompress for 6 hours and slip on the cover. It was perfect for our Netflix marathons this past weekend without fighting over the chair :)

Way smaller then it looks in the picture! The cover for it is too loose so its floppy. Very disapointed

The pictures make this chair look much bigger than it really is. Either that, or the people sitting on it are really small. To give you an idea of the actual size, the lowest point of the chair sits up a mere 10-inches from the ground, the highest point sits up 29-inches, and the slope peaks at 14-inches in height. The length is the advertised 63-inches. Use these measurements to help decide if the chair is right for you.On the other hand, I was surprised to find the chair didn't have the noxious smell that most memory foam items have. Usually the chemical scent of memory foam is bad enough to give you a migraine. This chair didn't have the smell at all. A nice plus. The foam seems firm when you sit on it, no sagging.The black cover unzips around the bottom of the chair. I can be machine washed in cold water. As for the chair itself, I'm not sure how spills could be cleaned off of it. The cover itself will probably not prevent spills from leaking through so it's best not to eat or drink while on it.While it's comfortable to lounge on, you can't lean your head back. It puts you in a position where your body is leaning backwards, but your head can't. Again, smaller people might be able to fit, but a 6'1" guy like me can't lounge on it comfortably without my lower back bending at the low point of the chair. The only use I could imagine is maybe a gaming chair for your kids and/or teenagers.

These are very solid and great for lounging in... But I needed to supplement with some pillows. The proportions aren't quite right for 5'7"-5'11" people without some additional support behind the back. With some throw pillows they are perfect. I have two side-by-side and it's like a reclining loveseat.

I was really concerned about this product when I ordered because it seemed like a product like this could either be total crap or great and I'm here to tell you that we will be ordering more because it it great. Very comfortable and of very good quality. I wish they made one just a little bigger for men over 6' tall. It is a great product though!!

Cover is way too big for the chair. Will be returning.

I don't know how tall the lady in the picture on Amazon is but if I were to sit in this chair in the same position, my feet would be on the floor, I'm 5'8". After about a month of letting the foam "breathe" and swell as much as I think it is likely too, there is still about 3 inches of extra fabric (the cover) that I have to tuck under the chair. The chair is not that comfortable (as you can see in the Amazon picture) as it does not support your head. The fabric cover is also fairly rough and will tend to wear out your elbows if you sit sideways or whatever. The foam is pretty dense and does feel like it will last forever but this also adds somewhat to the discomfort unless you like fairly firm seating in this type of couch. I suppose it's a nifty little lounge for a small area but I would not use it as any kind of main seating.

I was introduced to the wonderful world of foam when I got my first foam topper for my mattress and boy, it changed my life.So naturally I assumed that a foam couch/chair/whatever the hell this is would be just as magical, AND IT WAS.First, it's SUPER easy to set up. I notoriously cannot put together furniture, so the fact that all I really had to do was zip a cover around a lump of foam was a blessing. It already came almost entirely expanded which was nice too.It's definitely more firm then a mattress topper is, so I was skeptical as to how comfy it would be. I have a really bad lower back and this was the perfect amount of firm to keep me from breaking out in a sore back.My only qualms are the material of the cover- it's rough, I would've liked something more soft, and the length. The model in the picture must be very short, like, abnormally short.Over all, a pretty freakin' comfy piece of foam. I still haven't found the right place in my apartment to put it that looks aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not too worried about it.
