This makes me wanna rewrite my reviews for all of the different cups I've ever used. I've always experienced some leaking from cups and assumed it was normal (mostly caused from the cup not opening all the way and staying open throughout the day) but these dont leak at all! I'm not sure why some are finding difficulty inserting and removing. Removing is messy, even messier than a cup, but this is the first disc product I've used and experienced no problems with inserting or removing. I pinch it together, insert, and check to make sure it opens up, which it always does with no issues. Much easier to insert than a cup. And to remove, you feel for the rim and use your finger to push it away from the walls, then hook it under and pull. The hardest part about removing is containing the mess while not dropping the disc. And the best part? My husband had no idea I was even on my period when we were intimate. Neither one of us felt it and there was no mess. Makes me forget it's even that time of the month! I wish I had known about this a long time ago. I got a 2 pack of the Large size, (the larger cups always worked better so I assumed the large discs would work best.) I'm 25 with 2 vaginal birth, 5'4 and 200lbs with a low and tilted cervix. If pads are uncomfy, tampons mess up your pH, and your cups leak, this is exactly what you're looking for!

I’ve used menstrual discs since around 2012. I’ve mainly used disposable ones and have always been thrilled by them because I hate tampons and menstrual cups just aren’t right for me for whatever reason. But, I got sick of paying for boxes of discs and adding to the plastic crisis on the planet so I perused Amazon’s options and decided to go for the two pack of these. I popped one in when my period started. I had also purchased some period panties and tried them out without a pad, which I normally MUST have on for most of my cycle because it’s so heavy. At the end of the day, I realized I hadn’t had any issues or overflows. As is standard, some fluid poured out when I was on the toilet, but I had almost nothing leak out. None of those moments when it’s like GUSH- OH NO! I took a shower and wanted to take it out to wash it and my only brief struggle was that I couldn’t remove it the way I always had- using my pointer finger and hooking from underneath. I’m used to the ring of the disposables. But I figured out that I could squat down and use my thumb from above and it comes right out. The design is a winner for me! Triple ring to make it seal better I guess? I washed it with soap and water and the only brief struggle with that part was that I needed to put a little bit of coconut oil on (instead of lube, coconut oil has caprylic acid and is very good for vaginal health). I guess it was dry post-shower which was surprising because usually I’m rushing to get some undies and a pad on because I’ll be flowing onto the bathroom floor. Ever since 2021 when I got Covid, my period has a smell to it which is just infuriating and disturbing though confirmed by GYN to be normal. This was my big concern about reusables. Rather than boil it or microwave it, or spend money on a cup sanitizing device (which looks neat and I might spring for one eventually), I soaked it in hydrogen peroxide for an hour or so and put in the other disc. No smell lingered!!! What a relief! Now it’s about time to change and they are the exact same size, yet today I have had more leakage ALBEIT NOT ENOUGH TO WARRANT USING A PAD! I think it’s just heavier flow today and I normally rest when I’m menstruating but I was kind of active. I took a couple of bike rides and then had to go chase one of my housemates’ dogs who got out and ran around like a doofus. Oh lawd did I start cramping and when I got back in the house I noticed a little damp feeling in the period panties so it’s gonna be a fun shower doing disc removal and pre cleaning the undies before they go in the washing machine. I’m glad I got a 3-pack of them. If you order some that are like $9-10 from here, be aware that brand new they feel like plastic is in there, but after a wash they soften up and it’s MUCH better. Keecow is the brand. I have two pairs of Thinx ones and they're okay but pricey and thick. These cheaper ones are neither.

This disk is awesome for women who know where their cervix is located and is confident placing the disk around the cervical os. The first few cycles I did need to use a panty liner until I got the hang of how to properly position it. Word to the wise: if you like to force your farts out, this is NOT FOR YOU. Bearing down causes this cup to self empty: really awesome when you are in the public toilet and don’t have immediate access to a sink, less awesome when you’re trying to crop dust your work wife.

I wish I could like it. I really do. I am a great fan of the disposable disks, like Instead. I tried the menstrual cups and found them very hard to remove, they seal... so I figured I'd try out the disks. Well, the rim is tall, taller than Instead, and let's just say the insertion was not painless. It leaked. Instead never leaked. Then about 2 hours after insertion, I started feeling sick, which developed into a massive, nauseating headache. I was down for the day. Since the only thing that was different was inserting this device, it's not a hard correlation to make, buy I can't be sure. However removal was worse than insertion, and as bad as removing the menstrual cups, so I am not eager to try it again. I scrubbed the disk like instructions, and I'm no stranger to silicone devices, so I can't figure out why I would have a reaction, who knows. But I think I'll either go back to the Diva cup or just buy the disposable disks, at least that's better than tampons or pads.

I’ve never used a menstrual cup before this one. I had read the previous reviews and was really scared about taking it out BUT, it was easy. I bought the variety pack, used the small one because I’ve not given birth vaginally. Anyway, insertion was easy, I waited for the first day of my period, at home. Once I felt the rim behind my pelvic bone, I just left it alone. 6hrs later I went to the bathroom and when I leaned forward blood came out to of the cup as it should. Another 2hrs, later I went back to the bathroom, I sat on the edge of the tub, both my feet inside and with my middle finger I found the rim. My first attempt was not successful, the cup had moved and I was worried that the suction might be too strong to break. Not trying to worry too much, I just went back in with my middle finger, found the lip of the rim and started putting pressure against it to break the seal, it gave way a bit and a steady stream of blood came out with the cup with my middle finger pulling it out and guiding it till it was all out. The only down side is that you will occasionally leak, so you’ll need panty liners and it’s a bit time consuming. Because I was home I was able to take the time I needed in a relaxed environment. I feel like I’d be too clumsy if in a public bathroom and worry it might just fall into the toilet. My plan is just to keep 2 specific times to empty the cup and not stress about little drips here and there. Comfort wise, once it’s in you don’t feel it, it’s comfortable. As a first time menstrual cup user, I would recommend if you have the patience and time to empty and remove to clean. What made me purchase this was the price and overall positive reviews.

Awful! I use a large disposable size. I went with large here. I struggled for over 30 minutes trying to insert these. They wouldn’t sit properly and they are so painful! Can’t return them because I needed the original box and sipping box and they both got destroyed. I’m just very upset that they hurt, you can not insert them quickly, and they are painful!

Let me start by saying I'm an experienced disc user. I have been buying them since there was only one option and they were called instead (many years ago). I decided to try to find a reusable option because my cycle is unpredictable and heavy for a few days, and I wanted to create less waste and save money. I'm 40 and am not a large woman, but I've had four babies vaginally. I know a small size is not going to work for me. I read the review that mentions a "kungfu grip on the cervix" and laughed to myself that she must be doing something wrong if that's the case. I liked this brand so I ordered the pack of two large discs. I was sent a pack of a large and small. Sent them back and ordered a replacement. Got the wrong option again. This time, I decided to just keep it. I even went so far as to visit the company's website and send them a message that Amazon is sending out the wrong product. The item number and description on what I was getting did not match what I ordered. They couldn't be even be bothered to send so much as a thank for you the heads up response. This product misses the mark in two of the most important ways. First is that the disc does in fact have a kungfu grip on your cervix. It's suctioned to it rather than just sitting in place like the disposable one. I mean it's on tight. This means you have to put a finger into the top to break the suction. That then means you have blood all over your hand, and hopefully have not scratched your insides trying to free the creature from your body. Huge miss. Second is the fact that there is nearly no structure to the thing so it is not easy to insert. Again, I've put in many a discs so I know the drill. You pinch it, but it's so flimsy that it doesn't just go into place. You have to either lubricate it with something other than water (tried and failed with that), or you have to push it in and wait for it to move a centimeter at a time then apply more pressure for another centimeter and so on. Huge miss. The other two things that I do not like are the fact that this "large" sized disc doesn't even make it four hours before it starts overflowing. Large? I think not. The ridges on the outside of the rim are absolutely aesthetic and they 100% hang on to blood when you're trying to rinse the thing. I do not recommend this product unless maybe you're itsy bitsy, have had zero kids, and have a medium flow at the most. The colors are cute, and you can't feel it when it's in place. But I'm going to stick to disposables until I find a better option.

Compared to softdisc, the rim was soft so it took some time adjusting to the feel but one day after, it was as effective and comfortable as softdisc. The rim is softer so it didn't snap into place as easily as softdisc. I am able to empty the disc out by pushing down, just like softdisc, which is the most important part. On heavy days, where I push down on it more than usual, the disc also pushed out without my knowledge which caused a leak. I now make sure it's not pushed out on these days. These an period underwear will create no garbage from periods! Amazing.

It doesn't leak , and it's easy to put on and remove , the only downside is removing it is very messy ,I got my fingers covered in blood , which never happened to me with a menstural cup.
