Jewelry shops charging $20-$25 to replace a watch battery. Purchased this kit and several batteries for less than $15. Kit very complete, and with decent instructions. New battery installed in just a few minutes.

I've had 3 watches that died and I've been putting off replacing their batteries for years. I was hoping to take them in eventually to a local jeweler but decided to do it myself. All three watches came from different manufacturers and required different tools to open them and replace the battery. This kit was able to open up all three with ease. The kit is compact and the box it arrived in can be retained as a carrying case for all the parts. Only feedback for improvement would be to make the watch holder deeper. One of my watches has a curved glass face which makes it bulge out. It just barely fit in the watch holder and slipped out when I was putting a lot of force into opening the back. I eventually just held the watch in my hand instead. Not sure what a batter replacement would cost at a jeweler (especially if you did not purchase the watch from them) but three watches needing batteries at $0.50/battery and this kit, I suspect it was more cost effective. Plus, batteries generally come in packs so I have the materials for next time. Kit can also be helpful for other small items and screws such as cameras and other electronics.

This kit was just what I needed to replace my mother's watch battery. I was able to open the backing rather quickly and get it put back together. I recommend this kit.

So helpful for replacing batteries! However there’s no tool to help clamp the back on. Ended up breaking the glass on on one watch.

This watch repair kit has already paid for itself 3 times over. I have resized one watch bracelet saving myself $20. I replaced 2 leather straps and have also replaced 4 watch batteries at $12-$15 each. The value is surely there for this indispensable product. Each item in the kit is well constructed and useful. I have one watch with a screw type back casing and the tool for that was invaluable. A bit fiddly at first but once i got the size adjustment, it opened the back like a pro. The watch holder is adjustable to virtually any sized watch to stabilize any watch that you are working on. I found it easy to use and perfect for every repair task. It is like having an extra pair of hands! The pin tools, battery replacement tools and extra pins are all helpful and seem durable. This kit certainly exceeded my expectations.

This is a convenient little value priced kit for changing watch batteries. Just buy this kit and then the correct replacement battery for your watch and you should be all set. This kit came with a flathead screwdriver that worked great to open my Swiss made Fossil watch and the spanner tool easily opened my other Invicta watch. The clamp tool comfortably held my watches, but I could see where any larger watches than mine might have trouble fitting. The kit comes with some clear vinyl pieces which I would recommend setting into the cavity on the clamp so that the metal spring does not scratch the watch face while you work on it. The tweezers were useful for manipulating and removing the watch batteries. I didn't personally need the pry tool, but I feel like it could be useful for those watch backs which are the pry open type. Also the strap release tool was convenient for biting onto the strap release pins. It can sometimes be helpful to remove the strap before removing the watch back just to get it out of the way.

This replacement kit was exactly what I needed to change the battery in my watch. The quality is great and it is very easy to use.

This kit allows me to do certain things with a watch within my capability, which is general maintenance on a daily basis.As far as the rest goes, a watch repairer can earn their money. For me, the kit provides adequately and is a good kit.

Worked well to replace battery for myself and my wife's watch. Overall, pretty easy to use and cheaper than bringing it into a watch store to change the battery.
