Kent 24" Girls', La Jolla Cruiser Bike, Light Blue, For Ages 12 and Up

24" is the size I need for my 5'5" frame so I can put my feet down without tilting the bike. Replaced the little girl basket with a Nantucket rattan basket to make it look more adult. Came pretty much pre assembled - just had to connect the big pieces. Comfortable seat. Handle bar and seat adjustable for the best ride around beach town. Love it!Additional information - after a few weeks of use noticing the paint on the handlebars chips easily. Be careful to avoid chipping. I covered with clear nail polish to prevent the chips from getting worse.

This bike is great. A little hard for me to put together by myself but now that it is put together I love it. 24 inch is just the right size for me (5'2").

Beautiful bike

The cruiser is a few months old with about 10 miles on it from a 9 y/o girl. Still looks brand new. The coaster brake, rear wheel braking mechanism , has developed an annoying squeak while pedaling. In my previous life I worked at a bike shop for 15 years. So I know my way around a basic single speed. Overhauled the rear wheel with new grease and it still squeaks. The bottom bracket ( bearings for the crank )needs to be replaced. The BB is adjusted correctly and the popping is gettin louder each week the bike is ridden.*** UPDATE****All issues resolved. I contacted the seller through amazon. They were very helpful. It was a hassle for me. I threw the bike box away so I had to go to the bike shop get a box. I had to disassemble the bike and send it back. The bike is smooth and quiet.Thanks.

I'm not a bike snob, but I do ride a Cannondale and a Giant adult's bike. By comparison this bike is heavy, especially since it is aluminum.It shipped quickly, was well packed, and had great assembly instructions. Speaking of assembly, it could not have been much easier - saddle, handle bars, pedals, and front tire. All I needed was an a allen wrench and 2 box ends, 10 minutes tops.Very good choice for a child that will outgrow this in a year or 2 - then we can upgrade to a higher end.

One suprised happy 11 year old Christmas morning. Nice well made bike. It took 30 minutes and directions were pretty good. All parts were separated and sorted nice. My granddaughter is 5 foot tall and the seat can adjust a little higher if needed in the future. Great bike for beach or park.

Do not buy this bike! 5 months after buying this bike and my daughter using it....the bike tire has stopped moving, it makes a horrible schreeching sound, and a bike repair shop told us it is probably the bearings going bad. I am sad that this bike did not last long. I contacted the seller, and 3 weeks later have not heard a thing from them. Because it is after 90 days I don’t think I can get my money back. A bike should last longer than 5 months!!

Bought this for my very tall 9 year old daughter, the color and basket are youthful and feminine, she can control the easy one speed and it allows for a confident smooth ride. A perfect upgrade from her 20in bike. Assembly was easy enough and the quality is good for the price. Only negative is the brackets for the basket were loose and fell out on a ride, but we came up with an easy solution to keep the basket secure without brackets. Would purchase again!
