I am using these s/s screws to secure half round ridge tiles to my house roof as high winds have dislodged some of them more than once, even after being re-mortared. New legislation now requires the mechanical locking down of all ridge units in addition to being bedded in mortar work. This is a consequence of climate change. Of course this does not apply to dry ridge systems that are already screwed down as part of the installation process. Obviously s/s screws are essential for longevity. An excellent product and I am well pleased with my initial purchase.
