I have to disagree with some of the reviews on here, those that have said these Tiger Nuts are hard and need soaking. I bought these to chew, not to cook. After an initial resistance, chewing and saliva break through Thsrs little nuggets of delight to reveal thier subtle and unique deliciousness, sweet enough and naturally good. As they have been mostly skinned, they are easier to break down and even more enjoyable. As a child of a poor family back in the sixties we had Tiger Nuts instead of boiled sweets and chocolate. I am now happily substituting my chocolate cravings with these, and it's working!

The nuts are fairly consistent in size and look fresh. Taste and freshness: They have a naturally sweet, nutty flavour and don’t taste stale. The freshness seems well preserved in the packaging. Texture: They are a bit firm straight out of the bag, but that’s normal for tiger nuts. Soaking them improves both the texture and overall eating experience. Pros: - Clean and well peeled - Fresh and natural taste - Good packaging to maintain quality - Consistent size and appearance Cons: - Slightly firm if eaten without soaking Overall: A good quality product that delivers what you’d expect. Ideal if you’re looking for a natural snack or planning to soak/blend them for recipes.

I use them to make milk then dehydrate the pulp. They are nice alternatives to snacks though. you'll need to soak them first. They taste like a nut with a sweet kick. I can eat them on the autoimmune protocol(AIP) because they are not really nuts but make a tasty snack, milk or flour

I have noticed a difference after eating these nuts. Some may not like them as they are not like your usual type of nuts. They are very hard, so you need to have good teath to eat them. It’s probably easier to liquidise them in a smoothie. However it is worth it in the end. They also last very long. I will be ordering them again.

They weren't fresh at all. They are supposed to be crunchy as I had some from Ghana previously, these were old.

I will be ordering again. It does the job and blends well with my tonic drinks. Remember to make sure they are soft in hot water overnight first. But loved the idea of peeled.
