I received the Detailed Scratch Off USA Travel Map very quickly. From the very beginning, the packaging job was done well. Once I unpacked the map I was immediately impressed by the quality of the material and the layering paint. The scratch-off tools were included with the map. I was very eager to see how it worked so I started scratching off the state of Alabama where my son was born. It scratched off very easily and revealed beautifully colored state with roads and major cities. Since I was 13, my dad and I have been in competition to see who gets to all 50 states first. Since my mom passed last year, I'm trying to fuel this race to help keep him motivated, and I think this map will help that.It's made of a sturdy laminate plastic. The Interstate map on the gold is perfect and sentimental to the people who have traveled those roads for a long distance move. The scratch off is easy yet satisfying.Bonus is including one specific attraction in each state to scratch off, something to go back for with regards to places already visited.Add on: I had a minor issue and the company responded lightning-quick to my issue. It really saved Christmas, and given what a busy time that is, I was impressed with their attention and care.

Loved the map. At first its a little messy when you are scratching off so many at once. Will be better going forward. Found it odd some of the places they chose to highlight and Niagara Falls wasn't one of them. Regardless looks great and we enjoy keeping track of our journey.

My fiancé and I are obsessed with traveling the United States and decided that we wanted a fun way to visual document our travels. We also use clear glue dots to attach paper logos of NFL teams where we have visited their stadium. This map is great for the price and the quality. Because the map is plastic, you do not get the wear and tear you would from using a paper or a cardboard map. The only downside to a plastic map is that the scratch-off residue will not wipe off the map in some areas. I have tried everything and it just sticks on the black part of the map. They are gold little flecks and you cannot tell unless you are staring directly at the map, but I am so particular. I would recommend this product.

I was disappointed with the product.The map’s colors are quite dark (Compare the bright orange of PA and vivid green of Ohio on the Amazon page to the attached photo), and printing is very hard to read against this dark coloring (see photo again). With that said, 1dea.me did provide a refund when I brought the situation to their attention, so I give them points for that.

I've been always dreaming to visit all 50 states and this map seems like some extra motivation.When you look at it on your wall, it literally wakes up your desire to travel.The map is compact, made of high-quality materials, printed on plastic and is waterproof.So it means you can even take it with you on your crazy and fun adventures:)Loved every single detail of it. Now I know what to get my travel-addicted friends as a present.

The shavings make a bit of a mess (static cling to everything!), but this map is great quality. We bought it to track where we've been on our family vacations, and the kids loved taking turns uncovering a state or landmark. The colors are vibrant, and the details included are very impressive. The tube it comes in also has some 'little known facts' of each state. Very happy with this purchase!

Looks awesome! Very hard to scratch off ( which is good and bad)!

Looking for an alternative way to record our travel through The USA this fits the bill perfectly. Not only can we record the states we have visited but also some of the wonders along the way. A great buy.

Leider rubbelt man jedes Mal, wenn man ein Feld frei kratzt auch die Farbe mit ab. Wir haben es mit allen empfohlenen Mitteln und auch ganz vorsichtig probiert. Hat nicht geklappt wir haben andere kratz Karten da klappt es wunderbar.
