The Wizard of Oz Hardcover – Picture Book, November 22, 2016

I bought this for the paper-cut illustrations, which are just lovely. But the text is at that weird stage -- it's been edited down or retold and has lost much of its original charm, yet it's still too long for a little kid (my daughter is 4). Now I'm not sure what to DO with this book; it's beautiful, but it's definitely not a good introduction to the story for a child you hope will love it.

Incredibly beautiful but delicate paper cut art; not sure what to do with these books. Children would quickly destroy them.
