Can I assume that these are just the same as the regular Dickies painter pants but with the knee pad layer added? Or is there any difference in fit?

You can insert a knee pad which you can buy separately. There’s an opening at the bottom of the double knee section of the pants. It doesn’t come with the pad.

Some questions answer yes on a place for knee pads, others say no. Which is it? And what pads do at order for this pocket? Thanks

I need to send my order back for larger size. Does Amazon pay for the shiping both ways?

I just purchased a pair of Dickies painter pants and amazon says free returns. A/O 1/11/22. I and wear a 36x32 but bought 38x34 after reading reviews. My wife washed them in warm water today and they shrank 1 inch in each dimension. I will wear them tomorrow. I only hope the shrinking next wash does not exceed 1 inch more.
