There are 10 pads in each package that I bought.

Q: Are these used on top of bottom sheet? do they stay in place? thanks.

These absorbent disposable underpads are generally used above the bottom sheet, or placed directly under the individual to protect against incontinence. These pads are very large (3ft by 3ft square) so even with a bit of shifting the pads staying in place is usually not an issue.
