Not Waterproof!
So, I deployed several of these in an outdoor environment. I have a small WISP with 40 customers. As a connector, these work. As a "waterproof" you will be in for a major disappointment. My issue is I have a lot of antennas that are installed in trees. So, when one of these fills with water, I have to pay a climber to remove them and run wire without a connector. I have tried to use tape and silicone to try to keep these water-tight. Just yesterday, I had to replace another; costing me $250.00 in tree climber fees and two hours of my time. If you need a connector, buy a cheaper one. If you need something "waterproof" look elsewhere. In my picture (taken yesterday) you can see the corrosion on the RJ45 and the "waterproof connector" is full of water. My application uses POE. Luckily, my $200.00 antenna didn't fry.

No need to replace connectors
I have used this connector to make repairs to outdoor CAT5 or CAT6 cables, and also to extend existing cables. Unlike waterproof connectors I have used before, the rubber glands are split (this allows you to put them on an existing cable with an RJ-45 plug), and the gland nuts on the ends have holes large enough to slip over a standard connector. This item is well constructed and robust, and inexpensive to boot. Highly recommended.

You will need to cut and re-crimp your RJ45 connector for it to fit inside the enclosure
UPDATE:The vast majority of the RJ45 cables that you buy from manufacturers will have a locking clip cover which extends the length of the RJ45 connector by about half an inch so it will be too long to fit in this enclosure.

Garbage. Complete garbage.
These are terrible. I had a 5 pack and all 5 failed within 3 weeks. They are not remotely waterproof, the connectors don’t fit in correctly, the release tabs get in the way and bend. Shorter out my camera and I had to put new ends on both side of the wire every time. Don’t waste your money. If I could give zero stars I would.

Super secure but can be a bit fiddly with larger jacks
I've used a set of these on a few short outdoor runs of ethernet and they did the job well in terms of providing a weather-tight seal around any junctions. However, strangely enough, the fit was a bit too tight for outdoor-rated cable and I ended up having to cut off the corners of the cable's rubber boot in order to fit it in. That was a bit annoying given that of course you're going to use outdoor-rated cable with these. Once I did that, though, they were very secure and I've got confidence they'll last for quite a while.
