My husband bought this knife for me over a year ago. I absolutely love how it cuts through anything I have to cut at work (plastic, cardboard boxes, tape, straps, ) it hasn’t disappointed me yet. I keep a pack of extra blades in my toolbox at work, but don’t have to change it very often. I would highly recommend this knife. I love the safety features especially the retracting blade, as I work fast paced at my job and have hit my hand against previous knives and cut myself on them. If you want something that has safety and good cutting this is the knife to buy.

Cutter is very sharp and cuts through almost anything in one pass. Also has a good amount of weight to it, which makes cutting through thick material easy. One gripe: It should be easier to adjust the handedness of the blade without having to use extra tools to open the body.

It has nice ergonomics and I think it supplies the whole safety promise, but it’s not practical for people that aren’t required to have those safety features. It’s difficult to open boxes with, due to its dull tip and having to find the sweet spot on the blade every time.

Best product for safety. Cannot cut yourself but cuts rope like butter, will not buy any other brand! 10/10

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT ENOUGH!!! After using it for 1 month I couldn’t imagine going back to using a dangerous blade! It breaks the seal effortlessly and we’ve replaced all razors in our home to these! - I even gifted it to several family members for Christmas!

I open a lot of boxes at home and work, I got a smaller one for work and this larger one for home. It's much better than a pocket knife, which I have had close calls with the blade closing on my fingers because I was stupid and pushed the wrong way on the blade. This thing makes it really hard to hurt yourself. I can run it on my skin on purpose and it does not even scratch me but yet it goes through shipping tape even the heavy duty stuff like butter.

I decided to try this based on the positive reviews but didn't really expect it to work too well. I've already used it to cut some sturdy cardboard and it did a great job. I got this primarily for cutting open bags of salt -- the standard utility blades I used rusted so fast it made sense to spend a little more for a ceramic blade that wouldn't corrode from the salt.

I do not understand the high reviews. I ordered 4 for myself and family members based on the reviews. Most of the boxes I cut are from Amazon. These blades do not "Slice"...they tear. A blade this dull is not "Safe" used by an adult. I mistakenly assumed "Ceramic" meant this would be sharp like a ceramic knife. Think ceramic butter knife instead. In fairness...retracts nicely. Buyer beware.

Das Cuttermesser liegt gut in der Hand und wenn man nach vorne drückt, erscheint die Klinge. Beim schneiden, muss der Schieber nach vorne fest gehalten werden, wenn man das Messer nicht braucht, lässt man den Schieber wieder los, rutscht die Klinge wieder zurück ins Gehäuse. Das Messer scheidet sehr gut durch dicke Pappe.

刃は幅が小型のカッターナイフ、握り部分が中～大型のカッターナイフの大きさです。ダンボールの開封解体作業に使うので、握り部分が大きいため使い易いです。 ただし、最初から付いている刃が、安全のために先が丸く、切れ味が落としてあるように思います。刃先が鋭利な方がスッと切れます。(刃の中頃で比べてみました) コンセプトとして金属刃より安全と謳うのはいいけど、別売りの鋭利な刃1枚付けてもいい値段だと思ってしまう。

Use this in an industrial freezer and the plastic has no problem at -20C over an 8h shift. Cuts 2ply cardboard better than the steel knives provided at work and far safer. Drag from the blade in cardboard keeps the blade deployed when cutting, only need to hold the blade out at the start of the cut.

Good and safer than the pointy metalic ones. For things that do not require ultra sharp blade, like in my case only cutting cardboards, is exactly what I needed. I also have the smart version, the one with blue button instead of green like this, but that makes me slower because every interruption happen during the cutting (for example changing sides of the box or different tapes cutting arround the box) the blade retracts on its own and I have to pull the button back then back up to get the blade up. The blue one is good if you have someone near you so that you don't cut them at the end of the box because it goes on its own back inside the handle as soon as it finishes the cut even if you didn't released it. This one (green) stays out as long as you hold it, which in my case is better.

Great self-retraction and ceramic blade
