I was worried that a 3x wouldn't fit me, because I usually wear a 4x or 5x from places like Torrid or Old Navy. But I know how to sew, so I figured I could extend the elastic if I needed to.No need to alter it, the skirt fits great! I was so pleasantly surprised that I thought maybe I've lost weight. No such luck, I measured myself and nope, my waist is still 54 inches, and this skirt is only supposed to fit up to 50. But I can wear it comfortably and there's even 6 or so extra inches of stretch available.If I do lose weight I'll still be able to wear this skirt for a long time anyway, because it has a draw string as well as the elastic. So don't worry about it being too big if you're under 50 inches.It is absolutely gorgeous, looks just like the picture. And yes, the fabric is thin and a bit see-through if you hold it out, but there's so much of it that it doesn't really have that effect when you're just standing or walking. I always wear shorts or tights under skirts anyway, plus if the fabric were thicker it would probably be really heavy. As it is, it feels substantial and hangs nicely, but it's not heavy at all.I love the ruffle on the bottom. It is such a nice touch and makes it so flirty and feminine. The twirl factor is on point! And I'm thrilled that it's 100% cotton because it's so hard to find these days, especially in plus sizes.The only sad thing is that I now want one in every color and I'm going to run out of money.

I Have bought three of these. A brown one, a red one and a royal blue one. Each of these fit me perfectly and I am an American size 3X. Please remember these are 100% cotton. They say dry clean only on their tags. The colors are so vibrant on these skirts., They will look lovely was just about any top or sweater you may have.

I purchased this skirt for a theatre production and was not disappointed. It's very full, with a great silhouette and terrific movement. The fabric hangs beautifully and there is a LOT of it - multiple layers of gauze, which makes it heavy enough to fall correctly when moving or dancing. If you're looking at this for an active event, like a theatre production or a renaissance faire, you should probably be aware that the fabric as a whole is fairly delicate so if it snags on something it would be easy to tear. The sizing on this is very generous, the waistband is elastic and there is a drawstring as well which helps but if you're smaller than a US8 or have a very straight figure the weight of the skirt might make it difficult for it to stay up unless you have it tucked into a bodice or belt. I will be buying several more, overall it's a good piece for the price.

Lots of fabric falls nicely. So it doesn’t drag outside I gather the skirt on stairs. Very femine and fun skirt! The color is perfect.

This is a nice full skirt, but it only goes to my ankles making it a little too short. I am about 5' 7 1/2" tall, so the skirt would be better for someone a bit shorter.

Took a gamble on this skirt as even 4 star reviews mentioned pretty significant issues. I thoroughly inspected the skirt after opening and found no real issues.Seams were surged and sturdy. Ends were finished. Fabric feels pretty strong and even survived being walked on up a flight of 32 stairs.The white is super crisp, but yes it is see through even with the slip underneath. But, what white clothing isn't?? Was very crinkled out of the package, but considering they had to ball it up to ensure the lowest possible shipping cost to you, its to be expected. Nothing a little ironing or hang in a steamy shower wouldn't fix.Had some stray strings sticking out of the bottom hem, just clippings that hitched a ride through the machine. I pulled them out and my skirt is still intact.There are a couple of spots where the gathering or pleating at the top edge of a tier had gotten taken a little goofy by the machine. but unless you are studying every inch of every seam, it is not noticable.Waistband is nice and thick. Has a string to tighten. My string was one piece all the way around with lots of extra slack. I am a 26 waist at 5'4 and it fits beautifully. The length when worn at my hips is a little long and drags a little bit, which is perfect. The skirt is super full and catches the air nicely. I am able to tuck sections and still have quite a bit for twirling.Skirt says it is dry clean only. In all reality, no one is going to do that. Im not. I would recommend not letting it float free in your wash unless yours doesn't have an agitator, or if yours is a dyed color.I specifically bought mine white to avoid the dye bleed. I've had a dress like that and trying to get the color sealed without knowing how it was originally dyed is a nightmare. However, this was the perfect price for me to take a gamble so I can learn to tie dye my own skirt.If it's a success I will definitely be returning for more white skirts.

I'm in love with this skirt! It's very comfortable, well made, and super fun to wear. I got it to be an underskirt for my outfit for a Renaissance festival. I was a little worried that the color would be off or it wouldn't fit but I was proven wrong. The color is pretty accurate to the product picture and it fits really well. It's amazing for twirling around in and adding some volume to another dress. It's very light despite having so much fabric. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a good quality, fun, flowy, and colorful skirt that you should get this one.

Wow I’m in love this is exactly what I was searching for for well over one year I wear a lot of flowy long skirts in the summer and this absolutely breath taking nice cotton thinner material but the 25 yards makes it full and sexy my friends , and many many strangers ask wear I got it I don’t usually say because my look is my own and hate people trying to trend set my look but a few closer friends I can’t keep it to my self and sure enough their looking at my wish list haaa but something so pretty I had to rave about maybe might regret it when every where I look someone has my skirt on but the buy was worth every penny now the on thing I didn’t l8ke was a short inner liner of the same matterial which made my waist puff out almost looking pregnant or very Peggy do to my 5:2 & 130 lbs but I fixed this puffy pregnant look by just removing it carefully because the stitching is very tiny and well done but it worked and I just were a body snugging slip and the matterial now flows much more naturally shaping my natural tiny curves And if you don’t like long flowy gypsy authentic type skirts this isn’t for you but if you like sexy belly full swing out beauty this is the perfect skirt or go a little less material maybe a 12 footer instead of 25 but both amazingly sexy in my opinion one green eyed Irish Gypsy to another hope this helped your choices have a great summer AC of Canada
