Just as described and perfect tray

I use my14 inch Carpet Saver Saucer outside for my Jasmine plant which is planted in a rectangular shaped pot. This saucer is square shaped but it works perfectly. It's made out of a clear hard plastic, so it's sturdy and it doesn't cave in or crack when I need to move the Jasmine plant to sweep. Hard to find size! Happy with my purchase!

I got a new IKEA 14.5" square plant pot which had pre-cut drainage holes on bottom that I wanted to make use of. I also wanted to place my large (Ficus lyrata) plant into this new pot and put it indoors. The only way I could have drainage holes *and* have it indoors is if I got a square saucer for it. I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to find a good square saucer for it, but lo and behold there are some on Amazon!The width of this clear plastic saucer is 14" across. The actual usable flat area is a 11.5" square. If you want to put a plant pot on this, the *bottom* of your pot should be no more than 11.5" across.I fully appreciate the effort made into designing such a simple object. The circular feet on the bottom provide space for water to drip down and evaporate, and they also act as support for the saucer. The plastic is very strong around these circular feet, and will support a pot filled with soil and water.I took a star off because the curved edges could be a little thicker. I feel if anything were to break or crack it would most likely be the curved edges. For the most part the entire piece is thick enough, but it could be *slightly* thicker. Treat it with care and you won't have to worry about breaking it.I'm glad this square saucer exists, and that it doesn't cost as much as an actual pot. Your pots should have drainage holes if you care about the health of your plants, and a saucer is necessary for pots with drainage holes. Recommended.

This is the second time I have ordered this item, it is sturdy and last a long time, it is a heavy plastic material.

I am very glad to have found this large square water-catch tray for my large square planter! It is a nice thick plastic with little feet so it is raised off the ground a little and the whole bottom won't scrape my wood floors much if it gets moved around looks good, does its job, doesn't seem like it will crack easily, so I expect it will last for years -hopefully as long as the planter does!Plus this tray made it possible for me to drill drainage holes in the bottom of my planter and water it without worrying it will spill out. Now, if I get a bit too enthusiastically generous with my watering, I'll see it before it becomes an issue on my floors.

Thick and strong. To those who think it's flimsy, try adding pea gravel in it before setting your pot on top. I don't think this tray would hold up otherwise to my 80+lbs pot/dirt/plant/water. I have the tray sitting on a tile floor. If I get any leaks, you can rest assure I will report this in my review.

This is a great plant saucer, stronger than most other square brands. It slides easily even on an outdoor deck and has higher sides than most. Holds heavy ferns. Very pleased with purchase.

Pro: True to Size.Cons: I had a heavy pot this had to go under. It appears a little flimsy, but it did hold the weight. Not sure how long it will last

Fast delivery, less sturdy than expected

We needed something square and at least 12 " across to protect our bird seed feeder from the rain. After drilling a whole in the middle of the saucer, we attach them to the top of the feeders and the rain just rolled off.

I would definitely buy this again
