3 years and still running
So far, so good. This unit is very quiet as advertised. Water is cold and a joy to drink again. We have gone through 3 of these units in 8 years; so, the longevity of these units is questionable considering how expensive these are. Will attempt to keep all informed on how this lasts.Update: I left my last review of this unit on 4/24/17. Today is 4/23/20. It is still running well. I am considering getting another unit for a different location. While not super-cold, it is still much more refreshing than drinking RO tap.

Convenient but leaks (replacement did too)
It is nice to have chilled water by the sink and this cooler works quite well except that it leaks. After flooding the sink cabinet several times, we started closing the supply valve, but while it made flooding less frequent, it didn't stop it (and it's not convenient to have to go on your knees to get chilled water). So we paid 70 dollars to ship it back for a replacement, which was handled quickly. The vendor said we had turned the thermostat too cold and that the tank was damaged. We didn't adjust the thermostat on the new one, but it started leaking right away. We now put an aluminum barbecue tray underneath, but emptying it at least once a week gets a little tiring and we don't really feel like paying 70 bucks to get another replacement, so I guess this was just a bad purchase.EDIT: after using the replacement for 3 months (with leaking) it now completely broke down. The compressor was running 24x7 but not cooling the water anymore.

Very Quiet
I have had this installed for 2 weeks now. Biggest plus is it is very quiet. We had a chiller from Insinkerator that lasted about 5 years and it was much more noisy than the Chiller Daddy. Easy installation and the preset factory temp is perfect. I did cut some extra vent holes in to my cabinets to disperse the heat better since it was going in a smaller cabinet.

"DON'T BUY THIS !!!! "
Save your money and don't buy this unit. This is the second one I got after the first one failed in less than a year ( the warranty period). The seller offered me a repalcement after the first one failed in under a year . This replacement started leaking and ruined the inside of my custom cabinets. The seller "Water filters on Line" offered me another unit at the reduce price of $250. Why would I want another one and just wanted a refund which they refused to provide. This is also suppose to "all stainless steel" but is leaking rust colored water out of it like a garden hose. No way this is a"all" stainless steel". Then product is total junk and the seller contiues to sell something they know is defective. My case is not unique..check out the other reviews.

Chiller Daddy not quite Chill....
Under cabinet chilling is tricky. Have used several units over the last 10 years of owning my house in a poorly vented cabinet, but that’s pretty much what any undercabinet chiller should be designed for. I bought two of these units over six months and neither of them has made it past 15 months. I did purchase the Square trade through Amazon on both units and have had to use it both times. There’s not many options when it comes to an under cabinet chiller but this unit performed at the bottom end of the units I’ve had over the years. I will say that no unit has ever lasted three years and this one barely made it half of that. Was hoping that chiller daddy would be my daddy but I guess I will keep searching...

cold water
Bought this for my RO system designated for our drinking water. We bought this last summer because it was so hot and it definitely improved our summer. Our house is just cooled by fans and window units so this made the heat way more bearable. It makes the water just taste better to me also. Love this and so does my whole family. We drink way more water now.

Stay far away from this company
Horrible product all around. I received the unit with a broken plug (the ground had broken off) had a company fix this and installed the unit. It worked for maybe two weeks and has now stopped working at all. Contacted the seller and they want me to send this hunk of junk back (at my cost by the way) and will not refund my money until they inspect it. Total waste of money.

Ice cold water anyone?
I am using this under my sink with my RO system and love it during this warm summer. I like very cold drinking water and this baby (daddy) really delivers. It's got a little bit of a hum to it but not very noticeable once you shut the cabinet door. Compact size fits well under the counter.
