Faribault Woolen Mill Company Plaid Wool Throw - Chestnut

This throw blanket was shipped out quickly & packaged securely. It is exactly as shown, the other reviewers photos helped see the colors in daylight which are masculine enough for my gifting purposes.The blanket itself is more scratchy than I thought & it seems I missed the fact this was a Target edition. Still, it's a wool blanket for 20 bucks.

Of course I am a bit biased, being a native Minnesotan, and, someone who knows the area where the mill is located. That said, anything you buy from them will be great. During WW2 they made blankets for the Army and the Marines. My father, a marine, still has his, he is 92, and, it is still a good blanket. In and age of disposable junk, it is wonderful to buy something made in the USA, that will keep your loved ones warm for years. I buy their products as baby presents, knowing that these kids will grow up with them. The raw wool comes into the mill, and, goes out as a finished product that is well worth the cost.

The pattern is a bit different than that which was shown, but it is not a deal-breaker. I like the throw for its quality and texture, and will gladly keep it.

Good quality, no funny smell and made in the USA. It's less itchy than you would expect for 100% wool. It's a bit thin and I wish it was a bit larger but it's a bargain for the price. I plan on getting a couple more for gifts. Perfect for hanging out on the couch.

Received this excellent throw, chestnut with red & white stripes plaid...very high quality item at a steal-of-a-price! It matches my king sized blanket by the same manufacturer, but seems to feel only about 70% of that blanket's thickness...that's why it's a throw, I guess. It still has more than enough substance & fiber loft to not just look great but to hold your warmth. Very well crafted in the good ol' USA by a renowned woolen mill !

Bought these for Christmas gifts for good friends/cobworkers great quality and Faribaults customer service for them to me asap. Loved buying something made in the USA!! 6 stars they are extremely substantial and I added to the order and the company got them to me in 1 1/2 days and then reached out to make sure my order was satisfactory. Love this company and product.

I ordered 2, they arrived before Christmas, they are amazing wool blankets - not too thick, but they do hold the warmth. I would have expected to pay at least twice as much. In fact, I just ordered 2 more. UPDATE 1/10 - just ordered 2 more. These blankets really hold the warmth on cold days.
