No but just make sure you put the nipple at the 12:00 position you don't need any gasket as the rubber seal around the thermostat acts as the seal I hope this was helpful

In US Foren heißt es überwiegend diese Motorad Thermostate halten nicht lange. Leider stimmt das, hat bei mir ca 3000km gehalten, jetzt klemmt es und öffnet nickt mehr richtig. Logischerweise wird der Hemi viel zu heiß unter Last. Schrottmarke. Werde einen anderen Hersteller probieren.

good quality . used in 2016 ram1500 Hemi engine system. short 5 mile drive , temperature 84 to 85 'C / o.a.t.18'c . following installation open pipe thread bolt air blead screw. located about inch from hose fitting top bolt.
