I bought this product and another brand seed starter mix. We planted two pots of each plant with this soil and the competitor's soil so that we could test out which one worked best. Well unfortunately for these people the competitor soil won. There's too many chunky pieces of wood and heavier bits that make it hard for the fragile seedlings to germinate and break through the soil. I also noticed after watering/ misting the seeds and plants these oil gets very compact and unevenly moist part of the topsoil would be very dry some of the topsoil is very moist still and then underneath it's a mix of dry spots and too much moisture and other spots so some of my seeds did not germinate properly because of it. Will not buy again.

This is great for seed starting, and organic! no clumps, no pieces of wood of anything, just good soiless mix with perlite. My seedlings did very well in this, I'll buy it again.

Swear by these for starting our seedlings for our garden. A good mixture and helps our plants grow.

This is a well known product that I use in my organic growing. It was delivered overnight at via Prime which was important for my needs. It contains all the right nutrients and is a good value comparatively speaking. Organic items will always be more but are well worth that bit extra. It's 8 quarts and does well for small gardening which is what I need. They do offer bigger bags but I've a lack of space for storing items. The dirt/soil contents are ideal for seeds and it's so much easier to use than mixing up my own potting mix.

My kale and chard at 4wks. This seeding starting mix is amazing! Soil was nice and moist, I didn't even need to water the soil before planting my seeds. The bag has a zip lock so it's easy store. First time gardener btw! So happy with my purchase!

The seller was great but the product itself is not what I was hoping for. Good ingredients/composition but very water repellant, difficult to work with and I did not enjoy the overly large chunks of wood/debris I had to sift out. I wouldn’t purchase again.
