ZffXH 1/2 PCS Fishing Bait Trap Foldable Fish Minnow Crab Crayfish Crawdad Shrimp Net Cast

I bought this to catch baby koi in my pond. Seems like my large fish were very active and ended up with a hundred or so babies. They must have laid their eggs down within the grasses and lilies as I didn’t see them. I had tried catching with a net as there are way too many to keep, but that wasn’t working as well as I had hoped. So, I bought this to try. It worked great. It is very easy to set up and release the fish once trapped. As they have grown they have smartened up so back to net for me. It’s held up, no problems.

Saw someone in Rhode Island using this and thought it would be great for our lakeside house. It did not disappoint. No bait needed. Looking forward to the grandkids coming over and trying this out.

It's ok but I had to adapt how it pulls out of the water before it would poor all of your catch out so I made it pull from the side and closed the two holes facing down from the retrieval rope and also the zipper broke on me after about a week use so I had to zip tie it shut which makes it hard to get your catch out

This works well, and is wonderfully portable. However, on ours, the zipper broke the first day. But it’s easy to secure the trap once opened by overlapping the frame. We got a small 2-3” blue crab in our trap and it made some holes in the netting. We fixed these with zip ties. Fast forward a couple months- We’ve used it about 25 times now and it’s no longer viable. We got 100’s of pinfish, mud minnows, muhara, etc… In that aspect, this paid for itself over and over. If the netting and zipper was just a tad sturdier I’d give this 4 stars.

Very durable and easy to use. We have caught many small fish that we use for bait. Well worth the money.

I haven't got to use it yet but it is just what I ordered and easy to put together. I'm excited about trying it out this week.

Works good to reduce number of goldfish in pond. Catches a couple each day

The trap came quickly and all I had to do was add bait and zip it closed. I put it in the small pond near my house for an hour and something (probably a turtle? ) tore it to shreds by the time I checked it. I'll keep the frame and make a new one with heavier material but was hoping to get a few uses out of it. It's soft cloth netting, not durable like a cast net. Bummer 😮‍💨

This minnow net is fast to set up and easy to use. Have caught alot of minnows with this. Way better than a dip net.

My son set this up and caught lots of minnows. It was very easy to set up and put away. The price was great and kept him entertained for hours. Great quality. Would recommend

Don't buy . Don't work for minnows.

I got it to catch goldfish ingesting our lake and so far I've caught one. It came with a little thing for bait which I haven't tried yet. It also caught some lake shrimps. Edit: catches turtles like a hot darn, do not leave it unattended.
