I read pretty much all the reviews posted for this item and other items from Greendale. Most reviews seemed negative, about the product and the company. I ended up buying this because it was the only one that was the right size for my over-sized hand crafted Amish made glider. Other coverings were double the price or custom made. I made sure I didn't tie the strings too tight so they don't rip. And if they do, it seems like they could be easily hand stitched. As others said, there is enough padding to mold to your fanny and the fabric seems to be of decent quality. It looks great on the chair and if I thought it was cheaply made I would send it back. Definitely excited to break in the chair with comfortable padding and a new baby.Update: 4 years later and still holding up!!!

I searched a long time for the largest cushions and these actually cover the entire platform rocker including going high enough on the back. The seat could actually be a couple inches bigger but as big as I could find and has very comfortable thickness. (I do have to cover the base of my rocker with some fabric.) I ordered the green one which is fine but I wish they would offer them in more fabrics including some tapestries or prints which tend to hide stains better than solids.

These cushions fit the rocker just as shown in the picture - the entire seat and back are covered. I bought them for my Mom's rocker but she didn't like them. She is short and felt the thick seat cushion sat her up too high and that the back cushion pushed her forward too much. I needed a set for my rocker so I took them. I am tall and they fit me better. I do find the seat cushion is stitched in a way that feels sort of weirdly lumpy/hard to sit on, not soft and comfy. I don't use my rocker too much so I will keep them as they look good. Also, these arrived in a HUGE box and it would be a real pain to have to return them.I bought a Klear Vu Gripper rocker cushion set to replace these for my Mom. They are not as thick and she likes them much better.

I got this for the rocking chair I sit in to watch TV. I measured carefully, and the cushions fit the chair just fine, but the back cushion pushes me too far forward on the chair. I have left it on in the hopes that it would eventually compress somewhat and be more comfortable, but it hasn't yet. I would only recommend this if you truly have an oversized rocker with a very deep seat, and would like to sit further toward the front of the chair.

I bought this to replace a hand-made cushion set for the antique rocking chair in our baby's room. The chair previously had some sort of spring-filled pad in the middle of the seat, and the pad wore away while the springs remained permanently attached, and I could feel the springs through the hand-made cushion. But with this, I don't feel the springs at all and now our heirloom rocking chair is very comfortable.The fabric feels great.-1 star because the straps that tie on do seem a little flimsily attached. They haven't torn off for us, but they do seem likely to go if you forget to ease out of the chair gently. You can easily remedy this on your own if you like.

OK, it appears that a lot of people don't know how to use rocking chair cushions. I am concerned that this product is getting less than a stellar rating.I am a Grandma. I bought a rocking chair and these pads. They are WONDERFUL. Here is a fitting tip: Always put [tie] the lower pad in place FIRST, THEN add the back pillow. The back pillow should rest ON the lower pillow. If you take these steps backwards, the lower pillow will jut out, be uncomfortable, and result in a bad rating :-) So thick and soft, exactly what I was looking for. Gender neutral color, will fit in anywhere :-) This Grandma says YES !

The first time I ordered, I got the smaller cushion set, and it was too small for my platform rocker. The second time I ordered, I mistakenly ordered the wrong color. So my initial luck with this item was less than stellar, but that was mostly my own fault. The third time was the charm for me. I got the larger size which is perfect for the rocker, and finally the right color. The soft green actually matches my green walls. Amazing. The fabric is soft, and the cushions are supportive and comfortable. I like it. Do pay attention to the color you order and the size, or you will be sorry.

I have a very large rocking chair.Was trying to find cushion that will fit. I measured the seat.This cushion was very soft material, nice color, very thick and cushy. The back cushion fits perfect. The bottom cushion is not as wide as expected.Its comfortable, I just wish the bottom cushion was wider.

I absolutely love the color, I choose green. It's comfy, and my rocking chair is really high, so are the cushions! Perfect fit

I bought this to cover a wooden glider used for nursing. The color is as expected which can be tricky sometimes when viewing a picture. As mentioned by another reviewer, it's a bit stiff but generally comfortable and meets my expectations. The height is perfect and supports my head well. All in all, i am happy with this purchase.
