A cheap, effective, and pleasant degreaser.
Orange oil (mostly D-lemonine) is great. It's a nontoxic degreaser. I just mix a small capful into water, give it a shake and use it to clean counters, ect. It smells good, and is dirt cheap.

Works amazing for carpenter ants in home! Gone faster than any poison!
Carpenter Ants- we had an infestation of them chewing in the walls. I thought someone emptied a pencil sharpener overnight they chewed so much under 1 windowsill! I did a huge amount of research on treating them without an exterminator and hopefully this will help someone else. 1st- cleaned, vacuumed and made bait 50/50 honey and borax. Put dabs on paper and in bottle caps near their trails. This significantly decreased them after a week but a few still roamed the house. ( this recipe works amazing to get rid of little sugar ants). 2. Sprinkled straight cinnamon powder on windowsills and edges of room they were active. I was amazed. They really hate it and left the area! It apparently makes it so they can’t smell their pheromone trails and they just hate cinnamon. Within a day we were down to only seeing 2-5 a day. 3. Ordered orange oil. Mixed it 1/4 with 3/4 vegetable oil in a spray bottle. Went around the outside of home spraying cement base ( supposedly they won’t cross it bc orange oil burns through their exoskeleton) and squirted every hole wires enter and cracks in siding. The wood absorbs the orange oil and they won’t eat it. Inside I gently squirted straight orange oil around window sills and any cracks where ants have entered. I’ve read this lasts for years. I’m crossing my fingers but I haven’t seen a carpenter ant in over 10 months. Before I was seeing 20 or more a day. It took hours to research this but was less than $30 and maybe a half hour of time applying it. Figured I’d post in case it helps anyone. No chemicals. No exterminator costs. Things that DID NOT work were peppermint oil and water sprayed ( smelled lovely). DIotemaceous earth ( they laughed at and ran right through) and sulfur powder ( they couldn’t have cared less) Terro traps- meh- I guess they weren’t hungry enough to fall for them.

Great for removing sticker residue
This is a wonderful cleaner! It's the best product that I've found to get sticker residue off of glass, and it was a good price. I only gave it 4 stars because it solidified within a couple of weeks, making it hard to get out of the container.

What a great alternative to pesticides for ant mounds!
Not sure if there is a difference between brands of D-imonene but this is the greatest product for ant control. You can dilute this with water and some Dawn soap and douse an ant hill and it is permanently gone immediately. The next day, you can use that same dirt to plant new plants without hurting the plants. This is a safer approach esp around veggie gardens. A great alternative to poison granules. I learned about orange oil on many youtube videos as. a way to control ants and it works
