These things are sooooo cool. It's so nice to get rid of the danger remotes in the car. We live in a great neighborhood, however it's nice to know that the remote comes inside at night if the car(s) happen(s) to be in the driveway from time-to-time.I don't know what the range of these remotes is / are, however they seem to be close to as good as the old block-style clipped onto the sun visor.It's a slight challenge to learn how to program, however that's all about me, not the product. I highly recommend!!!UPDATE: I was so impressed with these little remotes that I bought another pair. Overnight, the original two remotes stopped working so I reprogrammed them and all is well. It was likely me, not the remote or overhead door controller that was at fault.I've found that it's super simple to program these little guys now that I have more experience with them. I climbed up on a ladder to get up close and personal with the overhead door controller, then pressed the A and B buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds until the LED turned solid on the remote. I then pressed the programming button on the overhead door controller until it went into programming mode (mine is a purple button, by the way -- the instructions say that these remotes work with all colors of buttons / overhead door controllers and I have no reason to think that this isn't the case -- quality stuff). After two button pushes of the A button on the remote (or the button of your choice on the remote), it synched and all is well. This technique worked on all four remotes.Very nice stuff. I highly recommend this product. Again, I don't know what the range is for these little remotes, however it's good enough for me and my family.

I like small garage door openers and these are tiny. They work well once you figure out how to program them. I just use 2 of the 4 buttons. I've been using them for over 6 months now and just once the programming seemed to depart for one of our doors. I thought maybe the device was hard broke but I was able to re-program it and it's worked fine ever since. If I had any complaints other than the instructions for programming, I'd say these are almost too small. Update: I've had these for a year and a half now and remain pleased. I opened one up to replace the battery, which is a CR2032, and was impressed by the design. So long as it doesn't get wet it should last for a very long time.

Numerous attempts to pair two of these with my Chamberlain garage door opener and never worked They are rather flimsy too.On the “Plus Side” I got a lot of exercise going up and down NUMEROUS times on my ladder to the Chamberlain control panel on the ceiling trying to get these to program.They didn’t work and made me irk.

Programming instructions were difficult to understand. Once I got them right, the remote programmed right away. Like the protective cover that keeps you from inadvertantly pressing buttons.

We started buying these a couple years ago (based on my order history, I bought these 3 times). Since Minnesota winters are no joke, having to get out of the car to close the garage was really no fun. So, these came in handy.Problems and how I fixed them:Battery issues: luckily, we haven’t had battery issues although in the winter, they require a couple pushes to work sometimes due to high usage. If they go out, I’ll just take them to “Batteries +” and have them replace the battery.Programming issues: Sometimes, for no good reason, some of the remotes just stop working. At first, reprogramming them worked. Then it didn’t for 4 of the units. I then tried to reprogram them using one of the other buttons (B through D) and that seems to have done the trick. So, if the A button doesn’t work, program another button.Overall, we love these because of the convenience and for security reasons: we no longer leave remotes in our cars due to the risk of crimes of opportunity.

This remote works great and arrived with 24 hours of me placing the order. The instructions could be better, but I figured it out in 2 minutes with the internet. It also comes with a card that has a web site with videos on how to program various remotes. Don't waste your time with this website, as it is for automobile remotes not garage doors. Great price, shipped fast, programmed fast and works as advertised. Also, it comes with the battery installed.

I really really like this portable garage remote control! Unfortunately I had to return my first set of 3 remote controls due to them just stopping working all of a sudden.Customer service was phenomenal! The return was so easy & fast! I actually got the 2nd set of three in only a couple of days. Sadly after 2 months, only 2 of my new 3 are still working. I'm hoping my last 2 last a while because my return window has expired for this second set.Very easy to use & program. It would be an even more great idea/product if they could make it with longevity in mind.Thank you.

Remote is small and compact yet durable and easy to program.
