This retinol works. It’s encapsulated retinol so it releases over time. I have dry skin so I can only use this once a week at most. I noticed that my skin will become drier and more irritated on day 3-4 after applying this once. It does seem to bring on cystic bumps for me but I guess it’s due to the higher cell turnover rate from the retinol? It works. Almost too good to be retinol vs a stronger form. Super potent. Another plus is that the ingredients list is easy to understand.

Love, love, LOVE!!!! This serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly, making it easy to add into a nightly routine. The retinol helps fade old acne marks over time, while the hyaluronic acid keeps skin from feeling too dry. The niacinamide is a nice bonus for calming redness and evening out skin tone. It's also HSA and FSA eligible! Absolutely new favorite of my routine :)

It did take about 6 weeks to see definite results, but wow the wait was worth it. My skin looks so smooth, and fine wrinkles around my mouth and laughing wrinkles by my eyes are completely gone. I had large pores on my forehead and my nose for many years and this has completely reduced them to the point where they are not visible anymore! I have pale skin with dark brown beauty marks, those are also becoming smaller and changed to a lighter brown color rather than standing out so much. The only downside is the smell, it's not horrible or very strong but it does smell medical. I also use the leftovers from applying my face on the back of my hands and on my fingertips. My hands have never looked better and my cuticles look perfect.

I am really happy with this product. I have cystic acne scarring - a large area of the pocked raised scars and 'valleys' around my mouth area. The scars are old and healed, so there's no discoloration or active inflammation. As I've gotten older (in my 40s) the scars have become more noticeable and it's embarrassing. I still use benzoyl peroxide (10%) and adapalene daily, as well as sulfur/zinc products that reduce the inflammation in the recurrent active cystic acne. So it's ongoing. I added this product and Differin Gel Acne Scar Spot Treatment for Face at the same time, and I am honestly shocked by the results. In under a month the cystic acne scars have reduced in size significantly and are much less visible. The raised bumps are barely visible and the skin texture is softer - so the 'pocked' look has decreased a great deal. After my nightly skin regimen, I use this product over my whole face and once it dries I put the Differin Gel Acne Scar Spot Treatment on just the cystic acne scars. It has not caused any new acne and the hyaluronic acid is a great moisturizer to prevent irritation. I did not think the cystic acne scarring would improve ever, so I'm so happy.

This has been very helpful in treating my cystic acne. I started using it twice a week in the evening and I'm not ramped up to once every other day, alternating with benzol peroxide.

I haven't seen much of a difference since I have been using this product
