The wife and I are real happy with the DeKor diaper pail but the dirty diaper smell is ALWAYS there. That's just the nature of the beast. Poop is poop and it will eventually stink! Especially everyone's favorite, blow-outs! However, to combat that we've start to throw the poopy diapers into separate plastic bags. From there, they go directly in our trash bin outside in the garage. It will smell the garage up a bit but not as bad as where your pail is located. That has stopped almost all smells and keeps the room pretty fresh! When you are going to change out your bags in the pail, cut the plastic close to the last diaper. Take the bag out of the pail and place onto the ground. Lean into the bag and compress it as far down as possible. (Make sure your face is out of the way! The smell is horrible! You will have nightmares) These bags are strong enough to take the compressing force. That will give you enough room to tie your knot. With the bag inside the pail, tie your knot and continue to slip it as far down to the bottom as you can while keeping it tied. Once at the bottom, give a good tug to secure that knot. This will help you get another bag or two per pack! One other caveat... don't put anything sharp into the bags. It will rip and your day will be forever worse. In the end, the bags are very durable and worth the cost.

I use the diaper pail to manage my cat's litterbox. It is much more efficient to dispose of soiled litter than scooping it into plastic bags because it allows me to tie off and dispose of as much litter as is convenient, making the use of less plastic. There is no odor from litter that is in the diaper pail, so the bag can be tied off whenever I want without worrying about having to dispose of it every day. These replacements are a very affordable and reliable product.

Product is designed to fit the receptacle I'm using it for and it works great. I like the strength of the bags. The odor is still pretty daunting inside the diaper pail, but I have noticed once I take out a full bag and tie it off, it can sit in my garbage can for a day or two till the trash goes out and it doesn't smell like something's dying. If your new replacement bags dont fit. And youve bought both the blue box AND the white box! Guess what you have the plus. And the bags are DIFFERENT. No where on the stupid little trash thing does it say plus anywhere, but apparently there are two sizes. I very angry looked at these reviews to notice others were having this problem as well, only to realize then that there are two sizes. I hope this review helps others not waste money on bags that dont fit. Cause otherwise this stupid little trash thing is amazing. We use it for our dogs waste since we live in an apartment and no doggy waste baskets anywhere, makes life so much more easier and less stinky.

I'd heard so many mixed reviews about the diaper genie that I decided not to get any type of diaper pale but a week after baby arrived we quickly realized we needed something. Not because of smell (breastfed baby so practically no odor) but because the amount of diaper changes were filling the regular bathroom trash can up super fast. I started looking at just regular step to open trash cans when I came across this pail. It was economical and seemed easier to use than the genie. So glad we ordered it but there are some cons... CONS - smaller than we thought it would be. We fill it up daily and after it's about 80% filled you either have to push the diapers down to make more room or go ahead and swap out the bags. We just go ahead and swap out the bags. NOTE: Our little one is breastfed so there's way more wet and poopy diapers to change. - The lid is kind of loud when it closes. More than once after a middle of the night changing when baby has virtually stayed asleep during the change only to be awaken by the slam of the shoot door. It's more annoying than anything else. - It's white. I wish it was available in darker colors. White shows every spec of dirt. We only have one bathroom so our guests see the pail when they use our restroom. I'm wiping it down more than usual just to make sure it always looks clean. PROS - Easy to use. Plastic liners are easy to change. - Simple, sleek design. Doesn't look too kiddy. We will keep using even after diaper phase is over. - Economical. Worth the money.

The diaper pail is a great item to have when scooping the cat's litter. It really cuts down on any smell. The bags work really well, though I have to read the directions each time we get a new box. There are detailed instructions and no issues once I read through and follow them. Price isn't bad for the number of bags you get. They last a long time changing out the bags about once every two weeks.

I’m an adult woman so I’m not using it for baby diapers but rather pads. And it’s perfect!!!! Easy to use, and looks like a nice trash can with a lid and not a diaper pail. It completely contains any odors and is easy to cut and tie off the bags. I don’t know what took me so long to think of using a diaper pail for the used pads but this one is great! I have the medium sized one and it was a great price.

se agradecería que le agregaran algo de aroma, siempre había usado los verdes que traen aroma, pero no los encuentro y tuve que compraqr estos, de verdad les hace falta algo de aroma, cuando retiras la bolsa llena debes usar un aromatizante por el olor que sale al compactar la bolsa para amarrarla
