Deni 7600 3-Tier 9-1/2-Quart Stainless-Steel Digital Food Steamer

I order this item just to make one of my favorite food "Manti" (its just like an Asian dumplings with ground beef, but bigger) I was looking for a special cookware to make it, so I finally got it! The dinner was perfect, delicious Manti were soooo good , I try to make the same food in different ways, but Deni Steamer is on top! I will use it in the future to steam broccoli, carrots and rice. Only one thing - its kinda hard to clean it. I'm 100% happy with this purchase! Thank you

I have had this for few years now and still love it . Great value for the money , one of the plastic containers did break but it was probably mugshot . Still use it as it is !

I bought this despite the many negative reviews and now have to write my own. I returned mine for a refund. First problem: Mine didn't look like a brand new item, it had scratches on some of the surfaces, and the original box was not sealed. It looks cheap too. Secondly, I didn't notice in the description that it was oval shaped, I thought it was round (as it looks in pictures). My intention was to put trays on a regular pot and boil water that way if the base heater on this one stopped working as mentioned in many of the reviews. But with trays being oval shaped it is impossible to find the right size pot. The item description failed to state that this thing is made out of PLASTIC almost entirely, I thought Stainless Steel and Glass with bits of plastic. I am not sure how it is with other steamers, this one requires frequently adding water while cooking, during the 45 minute cooking time I added water twice. It will probably fail early if let run dry. The only positive: it comes with 1-year manufacturers warranty, although you probably have to pay shipping which is annoying on something this cheap. I will shop for more expensive type steamer.

I used this to steam fiber for spinning. At first it was great, after about 3 runs, the steam leaked into the readout and I had no idea how long it was supposed to be going. It got so bad that the unit stopped working because it was so wet. Waited for it to dry, worked again, until it got damp again. Leaks badly in my studio. Im really disappointed because it's one of the few that has 3 tiers of space. I am going to try to find another one but in the meantime, my stovetop is in use.

I thought i would love this steamer to replace one i had that was on its way out. It looks great but it is a little small. The product came in no time and the dealer was great! Its just the product itself wasn't as good as i had hoped!

I was given one of these as a gift for Christmas 2009 and have used it every day since without a problem. I love how fast it begins to steam after you turn it on... no waiting for a large volume of water to boil. It is specific in how the different trays can be stacked. If you try to put any tray but the one labeled "1" on the base unit, it will have a gap and perhaps that is where other people are getting leaks. I always use tray #1 on the bottom and never have any problem with leaks. It turns off after the time I set runs out... but it also has a nice "keep warm" mode that will periodically re-steam for a few seconds if you don't get to it right away. I have convinced several of my friends to buy this steamer and have given several of them as gifts. It has changed the way I eat permanently... nothing is healthier than steamed vegetables and they simply taste great.

It is what my Husband needs at work where he goes for several days. He is on a Heart Healthy Diet. He can cook up to three vegetables and have dinner in a short time. He really likes the Steamer.

This steamer does a great job. Three tiers for a steaming a variety of foods. Easy cleanup. My unit arrived with a defective On-Off switch. Calling tomorrow to Customer Service. I will follow up with a CS report! Customer service gave me an RA (Return Authorization) number without hesitation and told me to return only the base. I procrasinated and didn't return until November 6th. Just after Thanksgiving, I called because I hadn't received any follow-up. The CSA told me that the unit was backordered and would be shipped Dec 3. I received a complete unit on Dec 4th. I now have extras of all the plastic parts. Prompt replacement; friendly service. Can't ask for more than that!

I had never used a steamer before. I was hosting a big family supper and I decided to order and try this unit. It is the best thing I ever ran across . I would recommend this unit to everybody. The price is reasonable. The unit steams vegetables to perfection. Best buy ever
