Excellent sprouting rate
Nearly every seed I planted came up! I am in zone 8a South Carolina and really wanted to add milkweed to my flower garden. Couldn't find seeds or plants locally and took a chance on these. Very happy with the seeds and excited to have milkweed growing this year!

Beautiful flowers
I believe these flowers are a powerhouse for local plants and insects alike. These have made a great addition to my local wild flower garden I have started with beautiful bright flowers attracting bees and butterflies all summer long. There are TONS of seeds in these packets so you can really spread out where you'd like to plant them.

Good quality seeds
I stopped buy seeds on amazon long ago because they were always junk that never germinated. But I saw these and decided to take a chance because I really wanted to attract some butterflies. Glad that I did. I got 85% germination even with no cold stratification. It is said that it takes up to 3 years before they will flower but at least two of my plants have buds in this first season. So we'll see if they develop flowers and pods. My only negative is there has been a lot of variability in the vigor of the seedlings. Some just whithered away while others grew very robustly. But maybe I'm just not a very good gardener!!!

Germination rate is low
Got them to sprout in my greenhouse but germination rate is less than I expected.

planted mothers day 2018...they bloomed july 10! very tall, very pleasant to look at! nice/perfect!
planted mothers day.....they opened july 10! I always plant hundreds of sunflowers every year...and last year we have noticed humming birds,and butterflies had visited....since I moved the garden closer to the house... well after reading and reading, I decided to plant these seeds to attract more humming birds and butterflies... I was unable to find what I was looking for locally...perhaps I didn't search hard enough/but I looked....I found these milkweed seeds here on amazon, I thought why not and plant...seeds arrived, I planted, they grew almost 5 feet tall....as of july 10, perhaps they will grow taller? any way... I saw one blossom today and was very happy! I waited to leave a review because I wanted to see the results... well, the results are perfect! and if we get all the creatures to visit I will be happier! I will order again next year! thank you

Not as advertised.
It was only grass that grew. Not a single flower grew.

Two packets of seeds in 0ne large packet. I am stratifying them in the refrigerator now--they look good--not long shipping.
