excellent
Really good value for money and sharp. I don't want to hurt anything, but deter the cats from a bird buffet, its working well, I've ordered some more for other fence panels.

Does keep the Birds off, after a while
I bought these to stop birds sitting on the fence and dumping all over our new patio and furniture. From day one magpies, pigeons and robins are not even remotely bothered by the spikes, land and walk up and down them as if they're not there. So nothing wrong with the product other than having no effect at all on keeping the birds off. Update : In fairness the birds must have just been used to landing on here and kept doing so for a while, but now have grown to realise this is the not a comfortable perch and mostly stay away.

Easy to attach pigeon drterrent
Excellent quality. Easy to cut into thinner strips with a good pair of household strong scissors. I used a glue gun to attach them to the metal rafters of our 4mx3m metal pergola and the old wood beams of a nearby rain shelter, and both locations have now survived a month of heavy rain and scorching sun without falling off. And they have kept the pigeons off… no crap anywhere anymore! I’m very happy.

Didn’t stop neighbours cat
Product is a nice colour and made well but not effective in stopping/preventing a neighbour’s cat from climbing up the fence and then along the spikes. He was quite happy to show me he could walk along them and then jump into my garden.

Animal friendly
So far so good to pigeons or cats on the fence anymore

Spike Deterrent
Good quality, easy to install although would have liked to see a choice of securing accessories to go alongside. Only flaw I have had is the strip would raise from one side in the middle even though it is held down by a number of screws. Possibly due to the shape of the fence but overall a good purchase.

Minimal, while still being visible. Does the job
I purchased this product following an attempted burglary where a group of males had climbed my 6ft fence into the back garden at 4am - luckily my dogs were nice and alert, went crazy upon seeing these males approaching the patio door, and they all ran off (for those interested/concerned) I looked at a few "fence spike" options, and landed on these. I didn't want something that looked too over the top or obvious, but I did want these to be visible so that the attempted burglars could see them, would know that they had been seen, and hopefully prevent a second attempt. I also wanted them to be functional, so that if a second attempt was not prevented, then when they tried to climb the fence, this would hopefully provide a physical deterrent. As far as I'm concerned, this fence strip ticks both boxes, it is visible but doesn't look crazy - and you can certainly feel it if you push onto the spikes with any pressure. This is enough to cause pain, but (unless putting considerable weight on) not realistically enough to cause injury, which is ideal in fitting with UK legislation (PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING OF LEGISLATION - I AM NOT A LEGAL PROFESSIONAL). When it comes to fitting, you will either need a fair few screws, or nails. I was fitting on top of a wooden fence, and attempted to fit my first one with No Nails, and a few screws to hold the product in place. The No Nails did not seem to adhere, so used screws alone for the rest. A portion of my fence was very thin on top, so rather than fitting one thin strip, I used the while length of 3, and folded each side over to screw into the sides of the fence panels. This arguably gave a much better end result as it is very securely held in place, while leaving spikes present on the top of the fence, as well as the front and back where a person may try to grip. I suspect this may also be good for the fence, providing protection from water entering the end grain of the fence panels - which is a win-win.
