Would Be Great If They Worked
After almost misdiagnosing that I had a bad PCM on my vehicle (very expensive to replace) using these, I discovered that 2 of the three probes in the set were not electrically connected between the banana jack and the needle probe making them useless. After completely unscrewing the banana jack and needle out of the plastic, it appears that the needle is just glued into the banana jack terminal. So, some make connection and some don't.I called the vendor I purchased from and they had another set sent. This new set now had 3 out of the 4 that did not make internal connection between the banana jack and needle. These need to be welded together, not glued. The most important thing these probes have to do is make a connection between the banana jack and the needle. I am scratching my head as to how these are not checked for continuity before shipping them to a customer. For $60 there should be some quality control.
