I don’t know if it is by design or less accurate craftsmanship, but the hour hand does not directly lineup with the hour. This only adds to the appeal of this fun little clock. It also helps me identify coworkers with any degree of sophistication.

This is nice. It's not huge like a wall clock, but more bookshelf-sized. It is not quiet. The every-second click might not work for you in a quiet environment like a study. I also think that it should have some type of mounting idea - even if just a small Velcro strip or a hole in the faux winder knob to drive a screw. Since this just sits on the edge of a flat surface like a bookshelf, it is prone to being inadvertently knocked off and heading for the floor. Last, while it does keep time, the very small hands and warped face make it very difficult to read.But - the idea is that it is a conversation piece, and it's marvelous at that, for less than $15. If you want a primary clock, this is not it, but it's not intended to be.

It's a fun thing and it works as if it were meant to be serious.

Likes: looks good and makes me happy when I see it.Dislikes:- the clock mechanism is really loose. I had to tape it to stay in place and the hands aren’t precise on time. May even be a bit fast.- all plastic. I thought I was getting a metal clock. I guess I should have read the description better.

I ordered this clock and thought maybe I’d just gotten unlucky with one that didn’t work. Ordered a replacement, and that one also didn’t work. It looks cool, and that’s about all it has going for it. Not worth the $ if it’s not going to work.

I bought this for Son-In-Law who is a Dali fan. He absolutely loved it. He placed it on the bookshelf by his desk opposite his Dali signed print.

Smaller than I thought but great little clock

We offered this to an artist friend who really, really appreciates the Dali reference. The clock is lightweight plastic and eye-catching. Maybe use some two-sided tape to secure the clock to the edge of your shelf....just in case!
