This is just like the classic. Easy to use and understand the instructions. The quality seems about the same as old style. We didn't have any problems with the loom cracking or breaking with use and all of the loops were good. Lots of hours of fun with this!

I bought it for my grand daughter she is 6, she liked it we had to help her at first but with a little help she is managing, and practice she'll get it. The size was bigger than I expected good surprise. When I saw it on the site it reminded me of the one I had when I was a little girl, and it reminded me how I enjoyed mine back then.

My 5-yr-old daughter really wanted to learn to knit, so I bought this for her to test her perseverance and gauge her real interest. She's enjoyed it and even took it to show and tell to demonstrate for her friends. It's easy enough to produce quick results for kiddos to maintain engagement and interest without overwhelming them with remembering stitches. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and reusable (if you buy more yarn). Honestly, I'm secretly looking forward to her getting done with her scarf so I can try making one of my own!
