Organic Plant Based Protein Bars, Vanilla Almond Crunch, 1.98-Ounce Bars, (Pack of 12)

I was looking for a protein bar that was soy free based on this information (Soy protein may cause digestive issues, thyroid problems, and potential hormone imbalances due to its phytoestrogens and anti-nutrients like phytic acid and trypsin inhibitors. Additionally, processed soy products like soy protein isolate may contain harmful chemicals formed during processing.) and the Aloha bar fit the bill. They are a better healthy choice for me, and offer a decent taste, are made with good quality ingredients and are reasonably priced. I recently tried the Coconut Chocolate Almond flavor and find they are a bit moister than the Vanilla Almond Crunch. I will continue to purchase these bars in the future provided they remain economically sound.

These protein bars are delicious, filling. I have allergies to many preservatives and other food additives, so I appreciate the natural ingredients and nutritional content. Great lunch replacement!

OK taste, maybe a little almond, but mostly just a nondescript blend of nuts and grains with the usual excessive sweetness. Tapioca syrup seems to be a better sweetener than most alternatives, but there isn't much research on it yet. Good blend of fats from plants and relatively low level of saturated fat.

I'm a Celiac and these bars are great! I keep one in my handbag for occasions when I am out and there is nothing I eat! They taste good and are filling.

Aloha bars are always a win for anyone that can't have gluten or dairy. They are a little pricey, but they do taste good without being too sweet, so that's a win for me.
