For sunscreen? Maybe not.
It may very well be working but I can't tell because I don't know because I'm not convinced anything is actually coming from the sponge - and yes, I've checked to see that there's nothing else to break or open. I gave two stars because it is a well made compact and puff and deep enough to put loose powder in.

Great sunblock, too dark for fair skin
This worked very well on my oily skin to prevent sunburns. The color is much darker than my fair to light skin. It's like put on bronzer. Even so I am going to buy another one.
