Review: Nope - I wanted to like these.Its kinda upsetting they claim to be a US company and then put these out like that one company in another country we are all aware of. First thing is they are not an exact 18x24 . Mine are 3/8 of an inch smaller which is an issue for me. The wood is very rough and needs sanded and it seems to be pine so no matter what you do if you’re doing normal coats of paint the grain will show when light hits it from different angles. I have to use them bc of deadlines but if you’re any kind of pro painter that’s not a paint pourer. I wouldn’t do it. Review: Nice panels - I’ve used these panels before and and find them to be of good quality and at a good price point. I “glue” my watercolor paintings to them in lieu of traditional matting and framing and this works quite well. The only problem I’ve had is that one of the last panels I received had a little damage on the edges but was easily fixed with a little sanding. A little better packaging would help in this regard.

Excellent and affordable
If you use cradle boards for your painting, you will be surprised at how good these are. They can be very expensive when you buy them at the art stores. This brand is much more affordable and just as sturdy. I love painting on wood surfaces, so this fills a bill on many levels.
