Durable easy to use the conversions work well and are properly threaded. Extends my washing machine drain line into my yard for use of gray water for water and repelling insect's who are not fond of soap.

I use three or four of these 24' long hoses hooked to each other ViaSpears 1429-012 1-1/4" barbed couplers, that you can pick up at just aboutany hardware store for under a dollar each.These 3 or 4 sections are then hooked up to a 1/3 HP sump pump to empty my aboveground pool. The 1-1/4 size hose carries the maximum amount of water to whatever dumppoint I wish, and hold up very well, as I have never had one degrade on meThere seems to be an ongoing problem that some reviewers are having with just how to hook thishose up to a superior sump pump. The pump I am using is the 1/3 HP Superior Pump 92330 which hasa 1-1/4" male thread for its discharge line. GO TO THE HARDWARE STORE, AND BUY A 1-1/4" FEMALE TO FEMALEADAPTER (Spears Sch. 80 1-1/4 Female Straight Connector D2464), SCREW IT INTO THE PUMP DISCHARGE, AND THEN SCREW IN THE SUPPLIED 1-1/4" TO BARB FITTING WHICH CAN THEN BE SHOVED ONTO THIS LINE.If you are using a flapper, pick up a couple of rubber reducer adapters and four hose clamps to fit the flapper to the sump outlet.

Disregarding the price, the item is cheap and flimsy. Impossible to last for more than a few years of abuse.Now, factoring in the price, this is a stellar item for the price, What they offer for the few bucks is just mind boggling. I paid less then 10 bucks including shipping and I'm not even a Prime member (at time of this review), and its just an insolvable puzzle to me. The product does work and properly sized and very usable. It's probably capable of taking mild abuse as well for a short time. I never keep things for years till death so I do not need lifetime items. This fits the bill to me and does deliver the purpose.

The underground drain pipe is plugged, so I'm using this temporarily to get the water away from my house until I can get the drain pipe unplugged.

I was raised in the country and dealt a lot with horses in the country side. We used to have a really long horse that would run between the house and the well so that we would have fresh water. I have also seen shorter horses, but those were also mainly used for getting water from point A to point B. This horse is no different, it will run from one place to another carrying water in between. Sometimes it carries water from a place that doesn't need it to another place, and sometimes it carries water from a place to a place that needs it. This horse can carry water at many different speeds (known as horse powers). I have not yet come across a horsepower that this horse could not handle. I know that eventually I will, but I bet I won't for a while, and if I do, you will never know. I will admit however that I still don't understand how a single horse can carry water at such a large number of horsepowers. Sometimes people tell me, "It's the pump, Boyd." And I just nod because I feel like at this point I would look really dumb if I didn't. Also, like others have said, store this horse in circles and watch out for draculas.
