The support is excellent. This slipper is of good quality and cost much less than UGG.

Q: How high is the heel?

The heel is about 1 inch... These are very comfortable...as there with UGG & EMU!!

Q: wondering if they are vegan because it saysdyed sheep faux fur luxury for everyone: made with 100% australian sheepskin?

Our Fireside by Dearfoams line is made with 100% genuine Australian sheepskin and is not vegan.

Q: What do the slippers weigh? I'm trying to determine how heavy they are. We need a light weight flexible sole. 9 or 10W

I did not find the sole to be weight or flexible. The sole is a fairly rigid. I ended up getting rid of these slippers because the sole has a lip on them and I caught the edge twice on my stairs. For me l, these slippers work a trip hazard.
