Button Wreath Ornament Craft Kit - Crafts for Kids and Fun Home Activities

Made these with a group of 3-5 year olds. The younger kids needed a lot of help stringing the buttons onto the pipe cleaner, but the nice thing about the pipe cleaner is that it is thick, so the buttons don't slide off once placed. Overrall, it is a great, simple little project. Each is unique because each child attached the buttons in whatever pattern they chose. Everything needed for each ornament is packaged together in a little plastic wrapper. I put the buttons in a bowl to keep them from rolling off the table. I used hot glue to attach the red ribbon and helped the kids twist the remaining pipe cleaner into a loop rather than try to tie or glue on the little piece of string intended to use for hanging. These are probably 2-3 inches when completed, so not very big, but I think they are very cute.

This is the perfect craft for kids! My 4 year old and 7 year old had a blast making these! They are adorable ornaments also! These will be put on the Christmas tree for years to come. Great Christmas craft!

Bought these for Sunday School kids aged 8 - 13. Very easy craft and the finished product is tree-worthy. One package makes a very tiny ornament that somewhat resembles a wreath, so the kids doubled up by using 2 packages of button beads and the ornament looked much nicer. The pipe cleaner is really long and we needed to cut it down to size. The instructions call for glue/ glue gun for the ribbon, but you can string it on and it still looks nice. Also may use clear nail polish to hold the ends in place. The kids loved the craft, but the younger ones needed help tying it off and getting the ribbon on.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Easy to use, separated into individual ornaments therefore quite easy to stop and start and separate between multiple children. This craft was great for both my 3.5 year old (her dexterity and teeny fingers make many threading crafts impossible), yet my 6+ year old (who is doing many activities for the 10+ age range without assistance) was not overly bored. GREAT for our annual ornaments this year. The price is fantastic for the number of ornaments and for the quality of the kit alone, BUT my kids can do this with minimal instruction and assistance as well - which makes it worth twice this!

I think these are great holiday time crafts. They aren't meant to steal the show or hang on your door, but are more than suitable for gifting to parents/loved ones, having as part of a craft station, or just making with your kids at home.I was familiar with the size and concept of these since I had previously purchased these wreaths for my special ed class a couple of years back. This year, I ordered them to be included in the goodie bags I am putting together for my son's kindergarten class.They aren't perfect, but are a fun fine motor activity for both young and not-so-young.

It's a cheap bag of buttons, wires and ugly ribbons. Couldn't bring myself to give to my grandaughter. Not worth ordering anf shipping. There is no real "craft" benefit to this.

Fun and easy. My 3 years old could do this with no problems. If you have a child with fine motor skill problems, this could be challenging but it could be great practice at the same time! The pieces are also choking hazards so be mindful of that! Otherwise this are cute, fun to do and easy for the whole family!
